The next time you receive a text message on your phone, or have someone send you a test, don’t read it, instead ask Rivian Assistant to read your unread messages. Have you tried this yet?
I’m not an Android user but I experienced this with my iPhone. Check the Bluetooth connection on your phone to ensure “Rivian audio” has messages enabled.
I’ve used a Tesla Wall Connector since I purchased my R1S in ‘23, no problems. The R2 is natively equipped with a NACS port which allows it to plug into a Tesla supercharger. It should be no different with a home Tesla charger.
When I saw the long list of features released (and still pending) via update 2026.20 I wondered why they released the R2 without all of this functionality. Now they also have to deal with a bunch of new customers who are not familiar with the update process.
After my last mobile visit a few months ago I noticed they set mine to 52-53 cold. I just set it to 48 cold and it seems smoother to me. It could be all in my head though.
For 2023 Rivian’s running 22" Sport Dark HL275/50R22 116H XL Pirelli Scorpion Zero All-Season, what is your PSI set to? The label on the vehicle says 48 cold, is that what you use? If not, what has been your experience either way?
Not sure this was mentioned but it’s also better for temporary storage of grocery items you wish to keep cold. The frunk doesn’t get as hot as the interior of the car.
Yes, the watch was always setup in the Rivian as a key. It just did not work as a key. I assumed this was due to it being the fifth key, and the limitation is four. Everything else worked, but it just didn’t act as a key. Maybe I need to re-add it now that I removed one of the five keys.
I removed one of my key cards but using my watch as a key did not work. Everything else works via my watch, opening doors, venting windows etc.
Regarding opening the Rivian App once in the vehicle, can it be opened in advance since I’m using the app/watch to open the door?
I thought the limit was 4. Perhaps per driver? I cannot use my watch as a key, but everything else works. I removed one of the key cards so it should work now. I will try it later.
I never use that either. FSD or any self-driving functions for me is off limits. I’m not gonna trust any of these features to make the right decision for me and my family.
You just reminded me that I wanted to remove one of the two cards so I can use my Apple Watch as a driver key if needed. I have a GEN2 which is limited to 4 keys
