The next time you receive a text message on your phone, or have someone send you a test, don’t read it, instead ask Rivian Assistant to read your unread messages. Have you tried this yet?

  4. Home Wall Charger

I’ve used a Tesla Wall Connector since I purchased my R1S in ‘23, no problems. The R2 is natively equipped with a NACS port which allows it to plug into a Tesla supercharger. It should be no different with a home Tesla charger.
  5. Explain to me like I’m 5…is software really that hard?

When I saw the long list of features released (and still pending) via update 2026.20 I wondered why they released the R2 without all of this functionality. Now they also have to deal with a bunch of new customers who are not familiar with the update process.

I removed one of my key cards but using my watch as a key did not work. Everything else works via my watch, opening doors, venting windows etc. Regarding opening the Rivian App once in the vehicle, can it be opened in advance since I’m using the app/watch to open the door?

I thought the limit was 4. Perhaps per driver? I cannot use my watch as a key, but everything else works. I removed one of the key cards so it should work now. I will try it later.
  13. Poll: How often do you use your frunk?

I never use that either. FSD or any self-driving functions for me is off limits. I’m not gonna trust any of these features to make the right decision for me and my family.
  14. Poll: How often do you use your frunk?

The Model Y’s frunk is a joke. 😉
