I have the 20" ATs on my R1T for the past 4 years. My wife has the 22" sport wheels and tires on her R1S. I would pick the 20" ATs all day, every day. It rides so much nicer IMO. And the difference in "sportiness", at least to me, is negligible.
I donāt think you can check the pressure on a spare tire that remains collapsed until you need to use it in an emergency. One of the issues of having the space-saving spare tire. Iāve never tested inflating the one in my R1Sā¦seems like a pain. Maybe I should.
Sorry to the OP - thatās not a fun...
Itās 100% true and easily proven through a simple google search. Multiple posts by the OP across Facebook, X/Twitter, Reddit, Forums and elsewhere. And then multiple posts by his friends/wife, linking to the same story and news theyāre trying to generate, just like you did With your post here...
Iām going to assume OP is a good person in a shitty situation, so Iām not going to post the letter (despite the fact he himself posted a link to it on Facebook). Should never have been posted online, but it still feels inappropriate to share since it has names and addresses, etc.
But I will...
Just so weāre all clear, the OPās truck was a high mileage 2023 dual large pack with 21ā wheels. Rivian tried to work with him to find a Certified pre-owned like for like as a replacement, but he declined. Instead he demanded⦠A 2026 R1T, dual, max pack , with 22ā black sport rims...
Between not taking the AI intro out before pasting, and then adding the fact that your āprematureā interior wear is on a vehicle that you are actively advertising as a rental car might be some of the funniest content Iāve seen here in awhile.
I think it should be treated just like any other accident, which is exactly what Rivian is offering. You always have 2 options for insurance: Go through your own and receive the benefits you pay for, or go through the other personās insurance and get it repaired or take Market value if itās...
This person and their friends are on a full-out smear campaign against Rivian right now. Posting this same story multiple times across all social media, forums, and even sending to news agencies. They really want that free brand new replacement, despite the damaged vehicle being 3 years old.
It's the best do-everything vehicle I could imagine. And it does the vast majority of them extremely well. No other vehicle, EV nor ICE, does so many things with such greatness. A few examples:
-0-60 as fast as many exotic sports cars? Check.
-A spot that perfectly fits my golf clubs year...
Sensational thread titles never lead to productive discussion.
If a bad battery or technician mistake is enough to make you sell your truck, go for it. "Worst truck ever" because of an issue like that? C'mon. Thinking about all of the issues I've had across numerous vehicles in my life...
I agree that mine is the worst truck ever due to the faulty bib. Iāve been saying that for years.
The BIB is the Blatantly Immature Brosef in the driver's seat (me), right?
I know it's just a marketing short...but the video of the rear insinuates that the tailgate is power lift as well as power close. This is counter to what has been previously shown.
Can anyone who saw the R2 at SXSW confirm one way or the other?
I have an appointment tomorrow morning for the toe-link bolt, and a potential half-shaft clunk. I'll see what they say when I drop it off. FWIW, I've always received either Uber credits or a loaner for every previous service visit, no matter the length of the service. Will see if something...
You seem to have a very strong opinion on this, while simultaneously ignoring most of what I wrote. All-good. I never said they got rid of the frunk. I never said they don't discontent constantly. I never said you couldn't order it as an option. Again, I stated that Ford is charging for a...
Just for clarity, Admin changed my thread title and added the second line. I only asked if owners here would be willing to pay to access your frunk.
And it's actually $385 or something that Ford is charging if you include the price reduction that they're promoting along side this new fee...
Put this in the category of āthings I didnāt see comingā.
New Mach-E buyers will now need to pay $495 more to be able to have their frunk. Begs the question, would you be willing to pay for your frunk?

Thereās no telling what caused your front motor failure. Could it have been the launch, maybe - but unlikely since the issue didnāt show up immediately during the launch. Just as likely itās a random failure like any other that have been posted about on the forum. People have been launching...
