When you say "everything turned on as shown" does it look like the photo below when you go into the bluetooth settings for your vehicle on your phone? I have a pixel 10 and am not having any trouble with this. Additionally, there are some settings in Rivian Assistant in the car itself to turn on...

I don't think it affects anything. I have multiple "saved" configurations.

It's probably the bluetooth AVRCP settings on the phone that isn't showing you the info you want. Enable developer options and change that setting to 1.6 and reboot your phone. Google instructions for the above. It's simple and that's probably the difference between your two phones.

To be fair, that's the way they look (to me at least) in all pictures. I get that it's a look -- it's just not one I'm fond of, especially on a vehicle with off road pretensions. I don't need my R2 to look like a "donk."

I think this is the wisest advice. The tires can, and will, be changed. It makes no sense to make the purchase based on the OEM tire fitted to the rim.

Another thing to consider -- since the R2 likely has a smaller battery than the R1, it might charge "faster" 10-80% just because there's less Kwh to put into it.

That's doesn't mean much. 215kw is the peak charging speed. How long does it hold that rate? I'm not saying the R2 charges faster -- I haven't read anything regarding its charging curve. That said, even if the R2 has the same peak charging rate, it could easily charge faster if it holds that...

The problem is where to hide it. On R1 it's hidden under the ridge for the radiator opening. There's no similar opening on R1 as the opening is below the front bumper. I assume they figured this was the most elegant option.

All of you saying you like Borealis.... Have you actually seen one in person? One of my neighbors has a Borealis R1S and 90% of the time it just looks black. The light has to hit it the correct way for it to look purple. It's not quite the COLOR option I'd thought it was from photos.
