Spec for spec i seriously doubt it, the "45k" R2 will have a small battery and RWD. All the ix3s have the same battery and AWD for 60k. The R2 that matches the base ix3 will be 60k for sure
All tires sound louder on evs than the same tires on their gas counterparts. Wear only makes this worse even if its not uneven Wear, I just turn the radio up
Disagree, im and ev only household and can't stand one pedal driving. Hyundai has the one of the best setups, 4 levels of regen you can control with paddle shifter. Porsche will never have one pedal driving

I agree. They are definitely that, the cayenne takes the next step for sure. My plan is to lease(get 20% off msrp as an employee) then immediately refinance to purchase and keep it as the family car.
The gravity looks ok, but the Cayenne ev will be better for similar price, I also work for Porsche. And while wholly unnecessary the Cayenne can wireless charge at home.
Correct, after 40 minutes of charging. The charge time was my complaint. Going from 10 to 80% that gives you 70% of battery to use which is approximately 94kwhs on my LE quad(that I no longer have) at best I would get 2miles per kwh which would be about 200 miles of highway after 40 minutes of...
I dont own the R1t anymore, I want three hours of highway driving with a less than 20 min stop. That should be the norm-every stop with the family or with dogs is 20 minutes, but in that time you aren't even getting 100 miles of charge added with a rivian or really any 400v car. If you want...
Rivians charging was the main reason I sold mine, too slow. If the range was better it would be more acceptable, but waiting 40 minutes to go from 10-80% to be able totravel 200 miles at highway speed is not it. I understand this isnt a big deal for some, and it isnt a huge deal for a one stop...
Exactly, these cars are hardly competing. Sure some R2 candidates could swing the BMW, but i reckon most people will buy an R2 for the looks. Spec wise the bmw is the clear winner but its also more money
I genuinely wanted one, I had a launch edition T that I wanted to be my only vehicle, but after 30k miles of commuting in a year I decided I didn't want such a large daily driver. I was all in on R2 but I wanted an 800v car, I could get it for the wife as she only commutes, but she will need a...
Can you transfer a reservation to someone else? Its highly unlikely that i will use mine and I got in very early, within 2 minutes of the reservations opening up
We get them traded in regularly, as well as mercedes, so I'll have to look, I can tell you without a doubt porsche still uses them on cars that cost in excess of $100k.
Because porsche doesn't care what things cost, 800v components are more expensive at this moment in time. Plus nobody does thermal efficiency like Porsche, the Achilles heel of the rivian fast charging is the battery getting too hot, part of that is being 400v and needing so much amperage to get...
