so odd it doesn't appear in my app. (the 16 charger option is the Tesla station with magic dock)
darn, just passed through PHX twice in the last week and had to use the expensive and slow Tesla charger. Though having some tesla driver try to very politely tell me this station wasn't a place I...
yeah i didnāt see anything in recent threads and the search is near useless. so iāll take your word for it.
feel like iāve been patient over the last few years but starting to wear thin. think it would have been nice to get this done before starting to charge for charging for example. no ETA...
Has anyone gotten their power tonneau replacement cover yet? I reached out a few months ago and they confirmed I'm on the list, and I have an open service ticket for it. Wondering if I'll make it to the 2 year ownership mark without a tonneau.
has anyone figured out what this icon means? i watched all the videos in the recording but just looks similar to others. mostly people walking by in a parking area.
^ i contacted Customer Service. They seem to have no clue about this program and said to contact my guide with a smiley winky face. Even though I purchased a powered tonneau and it was removed by the service center pre-delivery (June 2022), they told me "great news, next year you can buy a...
i havenāt gotten any notice to confirm my address. since i bought it, i seem to be missing many important emails including many get from Tony C. iāve asked rivian, they have the right email address but Indont get most if not all Rivian mail.
Interesting analysis. How are you calculating the "location" of a ZIP code given it represents an area? I think my zip code is 30-40 miles across.
Did you try any other service centers to confirm your hypothesis?
^ Quoting myself from January. Very little progress on the new town ice rink which I heard was badly damaged during the winter storms. I myself am in what is now a multi-year epic with my HOA to even get a personal charger installed despite the Davis-Sterling act in CA that demands HOA allow...
i have had my truck set in high regen since day 1.
youād have to define cold but itās sunny and hot during the day. no snowflake icon shows up on the battery.
thanks for the guesses. iāll create a service ticket but absent them coming out here and driving up and down mountain passes with me...
I am not sure if there is anything particularly wrong with my truck (14 months old, 16k miles) but over the last month or two I've noticed that I am not able to regen nearly as much as I used to. Unlike complicated range tests that are difficult to repeat, I live in a very hilly area and...
Scanned this thread quickly but didn't see any mention of power/regen loss. Batteries degrade in energy storage capacity but also power delivery and absorbtion.

i was wondering if something was wrong with my truck since i donāt hear this complained about much compared to what i see as relatively trivial gripes.
when i got my truck in june ā22, i figured d+ was new and would quickly improve. more than a year later its really not more than a toy feature...
Another data point: my truck has about ~12k miles, probably 80-90% of time in high regen all purpose mode. 20" AT tires. The other 10-20% is off road or snow mode where I think regen is lower.
Rotors don't have visible dust, and wear looks similar to @opnwide 's ... didn't measure but I'd guess...
This thread might be mostly derailed but this seems like the crux of the issue. We've all been sold vehicles with very generous mileage/degradation warranty, but at least so far there is no obvious way (and I would argue a lot of ambiguity) to measure actual degradation.
I thought about this...
Right seeing as warranty claims falls into neither category "death" nor "taxes", sure, on some level they don't need to do anything about any warranty claim. Your "I'm now understanding" led me to believe maybe you got some new information that led you to this being a specific case where the...
That's great news for you, glad to hear it.
I'm kind of curious by your comment "I'm now understanding that they technically don't have to" ...
Is this based on you having signed for the vehicle when new and thus assuming any future discovered pest damage? Warranties are legally binding...
itās a $1900 repair bill. not sure how much OPās deductible is but if itās $500 or $1000 the insurance company is out $900-1400. i donāt think they will put very much effort into recovering such a small amount.
Iām with OP on this one. I donāt think iād bother with insurance if just for the...
same here. iām just at home and unsurprisingly the truck does not recognize my phone as a key
iāll be honest i donāt normally travel with a physical key. this could ruin my whole day if i was out somewhere.
and i thought iām often with my partner who also has a phone there was some...
same issue. i wonder if youāre out and about right now with no physical key you can unlock and drive.
weird there is no status page for rivian web services.
not really answering your question but another solution is a Span panel / EVSE... pretty much built for your use case. Not cheap but a fraction of the service upgrade you were quoted and you get a smart electrical panel too.
