The AT tires they put on the 20" rims have higher rolling resistance then the on-road tires they put on the 21" rims. If they could put the same tire on the 20" and the 21" wheel (assuming there's not a big weight difference between the two) the 20" might get slightly more range. The 20" wheels...

My Model Y was the original design too, it was actually pretty nice looking IMO, what they did to it with the "refresh" is just horrible. I certainly wouldn't buy another one. This was mine just before I sold it to Carvana.. The ridiculous Juniper front end... What they did to the rear end...

Great! Now you can relax a little knowing you have a ready spare onboard. It tells you something when Rivian beefed up the Gen2 tie rods to 16mm vs the original 14mm rods.

It also lowers your max takeoff weight 😮

^ wow!!! You saved yourself a buttload of cash! Rivian parts pricing is crazy 😮 Any idea if the left and right side use the same length outer rod? It would be nice if you could pre-mod just one set and keep it in your bag of on vehicle spares.

Pretty impressive work Ed! What was the total Rivian wanted for the replacement parts? What was the total for the aftermarket Moog parts? Did you end up going to an Alignment Shop to get your rough toe alignment properly dialed in?

A lot of cycling, it's easy to see why the OEM lead-acid batts die so quickly :(

If you look at the poster's "Vehicles" under member info... you'll notice a large majority of the anti-Tesla rhetoric comes from non-Tesla owners.

Probably a good 2/3 of the Rivian members here are Tesla owners... just saying.
