Since the pandemic, public facing employees have had a rough go. I've been surprised how accommodating and grateful various customer service agents have been to me when I give them respect. I simply tell them I know the problem isn't their fault and I'm not irritated at them, but I am irritated...
The bag not being fitted to the frunk or gear tunnel is a missed opportunity. A bag that perfectly fits in one half (or one third) of the gear tunnel would tempt me. Or a pair of bags to fit the outboard portions of the frunk. That would feel special - like bespoke supercar luggage.
I wish I could remember where I read it, but someone did an analysis about the right locations/density needed for chargers. Basically, McDonald's are a very close match to where chargers should be located.
Whether you like the headlights or not, they define the Rivian brand. It's not easy to have your brand stand out in the automotive crowd, but the Rivian does. Even though they are very different in real life, the front ends of a Hummer and a Jeep Grand Cherokee are surprisingly similar and...

There is a lot of previous discussion on this topic. Basically, from what I understand, is that the wood aged very poorly. They could not get it to keep from yellowing and generally looking bad.
Both are obviously R1Ts, but the blue one appears genuinely smaller in this pictographic illusion. I wouldn't mind it if that is what the R2T actually looked like!
Not to mention lawyers, accountants, consultants, setting up supply chains, commissioning custom building and manufacturing equipment, architects, etc.
You aren't wrong that Rivian continues to spend more than they take in, but the difference is that Rivian, unlike the others, has real revenue offsetting a decent chunk of the start up spend. And their revenue is increasing substantially quarter-to-quarter. If Rivian were not starting the R2...
Rivian is still a growing and cash-constrained company. I think they are smart to simply fix bugs in the Driver+ system without pushing major upgrades. They have enough challenges as they ramp up the dual motors for the R1, finish R2 design and development and build a new factory in GA.
The...
