It seems like thereās a few people here that really want this setup to have poor range results. I donāt calculate my range on trips or obsess about range while driving, I enjoy the vehicle. I rarely use Conserve mode and I generally drive as fast as I can get away with. Iāve also let many...
The rubbing is only at the extreme outer edge of the tire. Iām guessing that if the tire was 2-3mm narrower it would not rub.
after using these tires for about 10K miles now, thereās no damage to my inner fenders from the infrequent rubbing. So it canāt be much.
So yes, Iād bet that a...
Not difficult, but not convenient. Just like when two taps on the screen was all it took to close my garage door, but the new one touch steering wheel option is a huge upgrade.
I agree with the OP, Iād like an optional setting to have all the exterior lights turn off when in park. Especially...
In some cases āframe damageā can be something thatās easily repaired, but for some reason the insurance company will not allow it & insist on replacement. These become salvaged title vehicles that are repaired & used without issues. I know someone that got a great deal on a nearly new Porsche...
I purchased RIVN this morning also for the same reason.
The article linked pointed out that the stock has risen 60% in the past three months. So perhaps the market was anticipating this good news & had already boosted the stock price accordingly.
Also from the article: āā¦new EV SUVs and...
Thanks for sharing this.
This is the first time Iāve heard that Amazonās order has been increased to 400K vans by 2025. This seems like big news. Has this been verified?
Also on this video was the topic of other companies lowering prices of some EVās, and does Rivian need to lower its prices...
My $0.02.
My R1T came with 22ās and I also have a set of aftermarket 20ās with BFG ATās. I prefer driving it with the 20ās because I donāt have to worry about touching a curb & scratching my wheel, because the sidewalls on the stock 22ā tires arenāt tall or wide enough to protect the rims from...
The only place I could find TPMS sensors at the time was Tire Rack. They werenāt cheap, but they were supposed to be the same as the OEM sensors used by Rivian. They worked as advertised, so no complaints.
There were other threads here somewhere with a lot more discussion about TPMS sensors.

According to this article, Rivian is bailing out of a lease for two large industrial buildings in Hayward, CA. This is disappointing news for those of us hoping that there was going to be a new service center...
Are these alignments at Rivian Service Centers being done for free under warranty?
My steering wheel didnāt used to be off center, but it is now. Seems like something an alignment would fix. Unless the SC would do it for free, itād be more convenient to have it aligned at a local shop.
I like this idea almost as much as your name (cowsr4eating). But I donāt think it would work. Reason - Rivians use gravity to lower themselves when air is released from the springs. But with one corner held up by a fixed object, the force of gravity wouldnāt be allowed to work. If there were...
This is sound thinking.
Having driven my R1T on both stock 22ās and aftermarket 20ās for a few months, Iād warn against the 22ās on stock tires in urban environments if you want to avoid wheel damage. The 22ā tires arenāt wide or tall enough to protect the rim from curb damage. This combined...
