I just got an email stating that my R1S was ready for delivery, but when I go into step 8, my address is grayed out with the message "Outside of delivery range." Has anyone seen this before?
I'm only 50ish miles away from the service center so not sure why I'm getting this message. Do they just...
Is 90% necessary to get optimal launch? I typically keep the charge on my 3P to 80% and was planning on doing the same when my R1S gets delivered in a few weeks
Trucks are probably in shipping mode before loaded on the trains. My guide said my R1S was passing through NJ last week (on the way to Brooklyn!) and my 'Near me' still has it at the factory. Thanks for the Near Me tip though!

Article from Ford above. I much prefer the Tesla plug over CCS. This is a pretty big win for Tesla
4-6 weeks seems to be the default answer that guides give. I locked in my order on 5/11 and I could've taken deliver in Normal the following week, but work got in the way. I pinged my guide this Monday and it was in Ohio making it's way to Brooklyn. He estimated another 1-2 weeks to get to...
I was talking to my guide about backing out to switch interior colors and he mentioned that unmatching took about 2-3 business days and shop access would be restored after that was complete. I ended up keeping my configuration as is so I can't say for sure.
That's disappointing. I secured mine on the 5/11 drop and had previous discussion with my guide that I was interested in the factory pickup. Ended up changing that plan because of work travel, but I could've picked up my R1S this week had that not happened. Even got a text on Saturday telling me...
That's the part that is frustrating for long time reservation holders. I only opted for a first mile drive because someone posted on Reddit about using it to get shop access. I had a good conversation with the rep handling my test drive, extra time because the earlier appointment no showed, and...
Was your R1S built when you chose it from the shop? Mine is getting on the train to Brooklyn this week (hopefully) and I'm trying to make sure I'm not on a business trip when my delivery window first opens up
Yup, mine's a 2019 so it still has the sensors. Aside from a squeaky steering wheel it's been a really good car. Just needed something bigger so we could get rid of the ole minivan.
After my first mile drive, I really appreciated how well appointed the R1S was compared to the 3 though even if...
What did the conversation go like when you did your drive? I chatted with the rep doing the first mile drive for about 5 minutes before even looking at the car and one of the things we talked about was my flexibility with configuration, not needing to trade in or finance, and getting on the lead...
