I hear what you're saying about the headwind, but looking at the weather forecast for that day it was a steady 5mph N / NE wind with 12mph gusts for the entirety of that journey, and I was traveling SW.
Yep that makes sense in driving the 15 min average down, but the realtime values were also...
Was 90 degrees outside. Had the air con set to 71 both before, during, and after charging. No significant change in elevation.
I guess this is down to post charging battery management. That’s a significant hit if that’s the case.
Noticed this for the first time today as had the efficiency graph showing…
Was traveling at 80mph in conserve for about 50 miles achieving approx 2.2kwh. Had map set to stop at an Electrify America charger just off the highway so battery was preconditioned. Charged from 15 SoC to 50 then...
This is how I launch mine too but with stability control reduced.
When I went on my first mile drive, way over a year now, I had seen practically every youttube produced. The launch mode was mentioned in videos of the very early days some lucky folks were invited to drive the R1T's before first...
My May 2022 Forest Edge / warm ash wood interior was delivered with a black mountain / dark ash steering wheel. Does that count? Lol.
They switched it out about a month later once it arrived in stock.
I have this installed, along with usbc adapters. Work great plus added advantage of higher powered charging than using the standard usbc ports: https://riviparts.com/products/ultimate-magsafe-charging-power-kit
I’ve seen many different so called recommendations from folks speaking to service center employees who state anything from 5k to 10k plus. Take them all with a grain of salt. I do mine (5 tire rotation ) at 5k just because I can and I love any excuse to work on the truck :)
I have the 20 ATs and about 8k (10 months) on mine and both front and rear are at 7/32. Is it 10/32 they start out at? I don’t recall what they were at when I rotated myself at 5k but I do recall them being the same wear. I use conserve very rarely, about one every few months when I’ve a longer...
Might sound a stupid question but is it centered? Both with my current builtright, and my previous cheap n cheerful, all I did was visually make sure the plate is centered between the sensors. Physically measuring for the 1st time I see there’s roughly 1.5” on each side.
I have these same ones installed. Love it. I didn’t experience any of the pain points you did. All I did was visually line up the mount between the 2 sensors before tightening and all was good first time. Perhaps they should explicitly state that in their install instructions.
Verdict - very...
Yep that’s what i was referring to in one of my previous messages as the roomy entry feature. It does eventually pop them out but it’s a 2 sec job to stuff them down again. They loop around the seat belt buckle so even when they pop out they don’t move out of place.
Yep I have them installed in mine, hence why I recommended them. Due to the roomy entry feature they can occasionally pop out so just need to give them a shove back down to reinsert, but have been great. Already saved me from losing a card and a phone.
These work great to prevent those moments…
