I have similar issues w Amazon music since purchasing the vehicle. Only fix has been turning off dynamic sound as mentioned above. Resetting the infotainment system does not work for me.
The Rivian experience is not terrible, but it will never be as good as Google or Apple. Their resources are simply orders of magnitude higher. Every year there are major improvements to phone operating systems. The same cannot be said for car systems. There is also the issue that one’s phone...
Mine is already super pitted after only a year of use. Definitely much more so than in my other cars after similar use. I have one star from a rock strike that I’m hoping doesn’t propagate.
The one I bought on Amazon for $22 is significantly more convenient to use than the built in one. I use it weekly to inflate my MTB tires. It’s a big hassle to unwind the car compressor hose, get the right adapter, pull it to wear it needs to go, then rewrap it. Will probably never use the...
I’ve had mine for a year. So far all spills have wiped off easily: no regrets. Biggest issue has been sunscreen on the black door panels, which takes months of work to remove, and the white chiliwick floor mats. I found that car wash soap and a pressure washer fixed the mats pretty well.
Maybe try calling your credit card issuer and see if they are rejecting the charges. Sometimes they have some algorithm that blacklists certain charges.
We have an R1S. For families definitely the better vehicle given you can fit more people. The ride has improved but definitely not a luxury vehicle feel. If you’re used to a midsize pickup truck ride it will be a step up. About mid pack for a full size truck. The bushings squeak over speed bumps...
Same issue. I usually have to wake my phone up in order for the doors to unlock. No problem with it locking as I walk away. I have reset the vehicle multiple times and the issue has not resolved.
I’ve had driver plus attempt to steer me off the road on several occasions: when the lane markings become non existent over Donner Summit, aberrant shadows, corners with indistinct markings , construction zones with poor lane markings, but I’ve always resumed control with a quick turn of the...
I think it’s the most compelling offering of the bunch. I like the size, should be super easy to park if you live in a city. The R1S is great for hauling a bunch of people or stuff, but for most things something smaller is more practical.
Anyone else have squeeking noises over speed bumps or other road imperfections? I as told it’s the bushings and that it comes with off road capability but don’t remember hearing similar noises in Jeeps or other off road capabilities vehicles.
For me this is something that one uses only when the road is straight. The car tends to pin ball around in its lane or even depart it with corners. It also slams on the brakes when a big rig is in the adjacent lane with any corner. It is only safe if you are vigilant in any non perfect setting.
