Ironically I received mine today after I ordered it in September. Piece of garage. Steer clear! No way it's coming out once it is in. So not going to bother.
My torch is not working well and I am not sure what to expect in terms of a good working torch.
Initially when I received the truck the torch was working. I have to admit I never paid attention to how bright it is (or is not).
After the novelty wore off I did not use it for a while. The other...
The other day I was browsing campsites and was scanning over one website when I saw that they have a rule that you cannot use your water heater on electric mode. Also you cannot use an electric space heater. They way they worded it was also fairly aggressive. As in "we will kick you out if you...
It's funny because they are addressing the "when" and "how" but not the "why" from their title.
And I agree with a lot being said on this thread. I did consider the locations and lack of service centres. But I was close enough to Rockville. Then they abruptly closed it. And it's puzzling that...
How long before they started selling the large pack did they release the official range? They would still need to get the max pack tested and change from 400+ to the exact range. So I would say that they have quite a ways to go. I think they have more incentive to work on the dual motors.
I agree, it's all the accumulated "little" things that you deal with every day that grinds on you and eventually start affecting the ownership experience. My number 1 is locking and unlocking (PAK, keycard delay etc.).
I would think one of the hurdles would be to actually fill out your tax return. The existing credit is on a specific form (or whatever it's called, to lazy to look it up). Now we will have to wait and see what the IRS does with the new bill. And if/how the existing form lives into the future. Or...
Not on topic but just have to share.
Had a guy talk to me today and he is clearly not on board for getting an ev. At least not until "they can go 800 miles" on a charge.
But his reason was priceless: EVs will make you fat. You will be charging so often and stop by a convenience store or...
Some world class nit picking. While I respect his reviews he can be overly whiny over small stuff.
I towed with an SUV that didn't deactivate the side sensors and they were being triggered by the trailer all the time. Very annoying. So logical to disable them.
I have not experienced the "micro...
I posted this before but there are so many questions on charging that it gets lost. So here goes again: I had inconsistent charge rates (amps going up and down) with a Tesla mobile connector and the lectron adapter. I replaced the lectron with a teslatap mini and no more issues.
They missed perhaps the Rivian's biggest flaw of all; Can a car even be considered an SUV without an aspiring name?
Wagoneer, Ascent, Outback, Armada.....
