Does your trailer have enough capacity with that tank full?
BTW...you can manually drain the tanks. They have plugs or disconnect the hose from the drain pump.
I have a 26' Cobalt which weighs empty at around 6500# with trailer. I only tow a couple times a year and less than 50 miles each time. I get on average around 1.2M/KWH.
I use an Anderson WDH and I have EOH brakes.
Tows awesome but I would not want to have to charge while towing it on a trip.
Never use an extender or a longer draw bar unless your tongue weigh is less than the derating of using either of those. Every inch of a longer bar reduces weight carrying a lot!
If you have seen the tear down video of one of those Ohmmu batteries, you would never put one near your auto let alone in it. It's amateur hour how those batteries are cobbled together.
My trailer does have EOH. Since I wasn't sure of the 12V pin capacity in the 7 pin connector, I use a 50AH lithium battery to power the EOH brakes. The distance I am traveling is only around 30 miles so a small battery like that is all I needed.
I could have sworn I read somewhere that it can on
How did you determine it is 30A? Everything I have read it is 10A. I have read my 2025 manual and it does not list that circuit's capacity.
Now that we no longer have the free pause and have the $5/month standby mode, I did a few experiments yesterday. The 500KB/s that comes with standby is plenty to do the Starlink updates(although takes a little longer). It also has plenty of bandwidth to do two phone calls with two different...
As the title says, new update...doesnt't show the percent SOC along with miles at a destination. Just shows miles like before. Did a full reboot and an instrument reboot.
Any ideas?
I was going to buy out the lease right away but decided to just continue it to the end. The risk of Rivian being in business still after 3 years and/or the car being worth considerably less for other reasons, made me decide to just continue the lease.
I bought a 21" spare for my 22" R1T...it's a spare until get the tire fixed/replace so I don't see an issue.
No different than using the space saver spare that the R1S uses
