Picked up my R1S from the Malvern SC in late September and drove back to NJ. We had temp IL tags and the car was leased. I assumed RFS (Chase) would send me a bill for the PA tolls - but I haven’t seen anything since. I added the temp tag to my NJ EZ-Pass but haven’t seen anything there either...

Did you try manually preconditioning the battery and then doing a hard reset? That’s what I had to do to get it to charge

Here's my update: I drove to the Trenton SC today and handed over the car. The SC advisor gave me a Lyft ride back to my place. The car was ready in an hour - the advisor told me that they had removed and checked the battery and that it was fine. Once the car was ready, the advisor called me...

No one is being dramatic in this thread :) If you re-read my post you'll see I already reached out to Rivian and scheduled an appointment before posting. What I am interested (and the reason for posting) was if any 2026 owners have had this issue. I am aware of the whole 12v battery thing...

Exactly ! The service advisor didn't even offer the mobile service as an option. The nearest SC is literally 10 miles from me but she didn't even know that existed ! had I known that mobile servicing is an option I would have gladly taken it. Now I am getting worried that it might die on the way...

They advised me to keep the car charged at all times and never let me drop below 20% under any circumstances. But they didn't say it should be plugged in. Coincidentally we had temps of 15f (-8c) today and of course the car wouldn't charge when connected to a L2 charger (it was at 40% anyway)...

The service advisor said I can get it towed or I can drive to the SC. Luckily the Trenton SC is only 15 mins away from me - although the service advisor had no idea that there WAS a SC in Hamilton, NJ I didn't realize that mobile appointments were a thing - is it too late to press the advisor...
