One note of caution for all the R1T owners, be careful when you clean your rear camera lens because it is easy to scratch the plastic cover if you’re not careful. Don’t ask me how I know that.
Here are my tips as a veteran long cross country Rivian driver:
1) Tesla is the way to go. Numerous locations and they always work and no waiting for a charger to clear - ever.
2) The Tesla app will filter the non-compliant chargers out for you.

Tesla allows you to ”purchase” FSD one month at a time. When I drove my MY, I would “purchase” FSD for the months I knew I would be driving a road trip. I sure hope FSD v14.1.7 is better than when i used FSD. The nag prompt was terribly annoying and defeated the purpose.
Make sure you are connected to your home/work Wi-Fi. I wasn’t getting point-26 until I connected with my home Wi-Fi. As soon as I connected, I was notified of the update.
There is no way that an alignment can be performed for the various suspension heights possible with your Rivian. Each time you change your suspension height, suspension, geometry changes which, in turn, contributes to excess tire wear. I aligned my G1 R1T at all purpose, low height and that’s...
Another thing Rivian can do software-wise is to add a “Conserve” mode driven by the front motor only and change the current ”All-Purpose” to include both motors 100% of the time. Good-bye clunk.
