So you have 2 different sets of tires on this car? This is highly not advisable to put Pirellis on one axle and Michelins on the other one. I have not seen anyone do this in years! o_O. It changes the dynamics of how the car will drive and increases risk of losing traction.
They will not even...
They are still available on tirerack with 2 year road hazard coverage....

Dont have to go to costco.
Yeah if you get them road force balance and make sure the road force numbers aren't above 10lbs in the front. Need a good tech to make sure that. These Rivian are very sensitive to road feel etc and in addition to replacing the tires and balance, proper alignment and maybe a replacement steering...
You should be fine with the 115H. Will have to increase the tire pressure to 55 or so psi to get the appropriate load rating. The Michelins are much smoother and quieter than the Pirellis.
Got to get the exact numbers of the road force readings... You will get vibration no matter what if the road force numbers are above 12-14 lbs especially in the front. Techs dont always know that and few are experienced with this machine.
Oh I see had no idea. I'm running these in size 21s on my R1S and I'm loving them so far.
Likewise thank you for taking care of your patients and working hard??

This one is similar to the 116H load standard tires. You will be around 50-55 psi approximately for proper load.
Dr. Radiologist here : )
Very good point, it also always come down to the tech. My tech uses the road force machine and he knows me, I want it smooth as glass and I have owned Lexus, BMW, Audi, Ford Bronco etc plus Rivian and all of them needed the tires to be remounted optimally on the rim for better ride and had to...
This is why Costco sucks they don't have road force balancers. You need to go to independent mechanic with Hunter road force machines and make sure that they are all before 12 lbs of road force run out for glass smooth ride. I got the defenders ms2 in size 21s and had minor vibrations solved...
Im sure they will but why go to costco with this car? Independent installers with road force balancers are way superior for mounting and balancing? Tirerack has alot of reputable and recommended installers and none are costco. Discount is a hit and miss, I only take a discount car to it.
Yeah you would be extremely happy. Just make sure they are road force balance properly. These tires are very smooth once they are below 12 lbs of road force without vibration in chassis and steering wheel. Regular dynamic balance are a hit and miss with these big tires. I posted on this on the...
Costco doesn't use road force balancers which is a huge no no for me to take any of my luxury cars or Rivian there. Typical techs who rush to mount and balance tires. In more than 15 years I never go to Costco or discount tire for this. Big difference for me as the ride is much smoother without...
Had mines mounted on a month ago and got through initial break in period. Will update you on real world efficiency end of this weekend after fully charging the Rivian R1S and resetting the efficiency. Mostly above 2.25 to 2.4 so far and getting better as the tires are now nicely broken in.
