I just saw DuckTruck's factory tour video. Their guide said the stamping machine is 1 every 4 seconds at full tilt. That sure changes production volume. The guys catching the stampings looked a little harried, likely soon to be replaced by automation.

If it takes 15 seconds for a stamping that's 240 an hour, 1920 in an 8 hour shift. If there are 2 shifts then 3840 per day. It's hard to imagine having such a large press operating at a faster rate than the ancillary presses for the remainder of the parts with the resulting space requirements...
