Hi all,
The Rivian-specific Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT tire is XL rated, 116 H. It appears that some retailers are currently out of stock, but hopefully inventory will be restocked soon.
Amazon does currently have them available:

The Wrangler Territory AT does not include SoundComfort foam, but it still delivers favorable noise performance. Many customers have commented on how quiet the tire is, even without the foam.
As for why Rivian limits this tire to certain configurations, I’m not sure. From my perspective, the...
Hi all,
For those that aren’t aware, I’m an engineer at Goodyear that worked on the Wrangler Territory AT designed for Rivian. I’m not as familiar with the ElectricDrive AT. I’m sure the ElectricDrive replacement tire would be a good match for the R1, but I would still lean towards the...
Hi Chris,
There are a couple of issues with the Goodyear website:
• The images currently shown are not the Rivian-specific version.
• The Gen 2 275/60R20 tire size—which fits both Gen 1 and Gen 2 Rivians—isn’t yet recognized by Goodyear's vehicle info tool. You’ll see a warning, but it will...
Winter performance was definitely factored in to the design. While not a dedicated winter tire, it is 3PMSF rated and I’ve found it to perform very well in the snow.
Dang, sorry to hear about all the trouble you’ve had — that sounds like a frustrating stretch. Glad to hear you’ve finally got your comfy shoes back! Really appreciate the detailed feedback on the different wheel setups. It’s super helpful to hear real-world impressions like this, especially...
Glad to hear you were able to do some one-stop shopping. I can appreciate the convenience factor and the lack of bandwidth. Sometimes spending more just makes life easier. I still think it’s wild they are charging $405 in labor to remove and replace the tires. Looking forward to hearing how it...
Good question! Mixing tire sizes can affect traction control and drivetrain performance, especially on AWD systems. In an emergency, the spare should get you to safety, but it’s not ideal. Alternatively, a can of fix-a-flat sealant could help in a pinch.
Recommended pressure is 48psi cold inflation, 51psi max cold inflation. As @Riviot mentioned, the inflation will go up after driving, especially on a hot day.
Hi Riviot!
You probably already know my vote is for the Goodyear Territory AT, which was designed specifically for Rivian. It should handle your towing needs well and deliver solid, efficient performance across all conditions.
The Goodyear Workhorse HT is a decent option, but I think you'd...
The Goodyear tire was introduced as an option on the R1 Gen 2 in 2024. It’s a new addition for Gen 2 and, as far as I know, it’s not replacing any specific tire.

I don’t have any personal data on the 21” or 22” options. Some have had impressive efficiency numbers with lightweight Atomic rims and the 20” Goodyear. This thread has good info and feedback…...
