This is similar to meters causing turnover when busy - but not needing to feed the meter evenings or weekends.
There is no reason the app canāt āseeā what is going on at the entire station and adjust as necessary - like the rules on those parking meters. Unfortunately, they do not and idle...
Use-case is certainly where itās at.
Over the years weāve mostly had SUVs mainly dealing with deeper snow, berms etc spending a lot of time in Tahoe.
Weāve had 2 AWD wagons (Audi & BMW) and as Iāve said before - they drove much, much better (than high perf SUVs).
Problem for me was snow...
Sometimes, too - rates will rise/fall depending on how many payouts on that particular vehicle. Iām thinking as safety features increase, certain types of collisions are reduced which keeps payouts down which keeps rates lower.
Big fan of Lucid products, but seems like a Tesla āsuvā - car product vs SUV/Truck. Just because itās 4 / all wheel drive, it doesnāt make it an SUV.
Funny how evs all get compared: rarely happens with ice vehicles. Our Audi S6 Wagon drove far better than any subsequent SUV. Although both had...
Thanks, everyone - appreciate the feedback.
This pops into my head every once in a while because I really like the matte wraps.
But, as previously stated, handwashing the cars is just not going to happen.
Ok, donāt want to touch off a big argument - wondering if anyone has had success using auto (and not touchless) car wash with wrapped vehicles?
The reality of our life is I use an auto car wash 1-2 x per week and will continue to do so. Just donāt want to spend on a wrap if it wouldnāt last in...
Sorry I donāt post earlier - if anyone on here is the Gray R1T that got sideswiped heading South on 17 in that construction zone just before the cats, feel free to reach out.
I was the next car behind the car that sideswiped you and saw it all go down (they drifted over into your lane) and left...
Most of the cars we owned prior to about 2020 had a hidden key in the fob (thinking BMW & Range Rover) that would allow door to open after removing part of the handle. Donāt know for sure if it worked with dead battery, but guessing it did.
2020 onward I only remember key fobs, but donāt know...
Iām sure there are others out there who have owned more, but my Rivian Gen2 is my 20th car. Until I bought our Gen 1, Iād never had another car that offered any updates that enhanced the vehicleās audio, features or drivability (besides recall fixes).
Over the years, Audi, BMW, Porsche &...
If things are calibrated, there is quite a big difference between drive modes and also quite a bit of difference between Firm, Moderate and Soft settings (in all purpose). If you donāt have Sport, Iām not sure of your options.
I come from other high perf SUVs and cars and really love the Sport...
A couple other positives re: backing off a bit: less stress scanning for cops/avoiding tickets and **generally** when I slow down a bit, Iāve found I generally drive āaloneā for long stretches of time.
Itās a big stress relief realizing how little energy is used when hitting traffic slowdowns...
Finally drove our Dual Motor Gen 2 today and definitely like this upgrade. In All purpose, much less of a clunking noise & feel when second motor kicks in⦠much more subtle. You can feel it, but much less jarring.
Sport mode feels quite similar to the Tri - a little more planted and to me...
This thread reminds me of morning radio when they did a call in segment asking what cd you had in the player when driving alone called āGuilty Pleasureā š
