I honestly have no idea. Gear guard was left on, I don’t keep proximity unlocking on (just because I don’t really like it), but that’s it. I’m sorry you’re experiencing such high vampire drain. ?
Nope, pretty sure I know the difference ?
I’ve been around here long enough to know that vampire drain has been quite an issue for a while and specially in colder weather.
Good try though, golf clap for you ??
I charged up higher than I needed to when I was in Montrose heading into Telluride, I did not charge at all while I stayed in Telluride. I agree, there is not really any usable chargers in Telluride it seems.
I’m up in Telluride this weekend from Denver, my truck’s been parked out in the heavy snow for the past 2 days getting absolutely dumped on. I haven’t seen 1% even of range loss.
Go Rivian. Through lots of great software updates and tuning, no range loss at ALL!
Went to pick up some food...
Thank you! It was a really amazing adventure.
All very easy to handle this time of year - hardly anyone there this time of year and permits are readily available. You do need to stay in designated camping spots per the permit regulations. Just google Canyonlands Back Country Permits if you're...
No problems at all, I think the cold weather scared a lot of people away. There was hardly anyone there, I think I passed only a handful of people the entire time I was there, mostly bikers. I haven't been to Moab in the height of summer but I can only imagine how congested and busy it gets.
Thank you!!
Turning clearance, yes absolutely! There was one other Tacoma out there that had a small pull behind fold out camper trailer. It did have high clearance though.
It is worth noting though with range I don’t think you’d make it pulling something else.
iPhone 15 has satellite capabilities to contact emergency services if needed - I actually had cell service with the Rivian hotspot for most of the trip too surprisingly!
Didn't plan to get stuck, lol. plus, when I have gotten stuck - a shovel, hard work, and time is all that's really needed.
Neither, lol. A decent sleeping bag but not rated for that weather and no heater.
The sleeping bag I have is just two cheap Coleman sleeping bags zipped together for a bigger sleeping bag and then I had a big blanket I threw on top of that. The tent is surprisingly well insulated and held in...
Thank you!!
No challenges, thankfully!
On a trip like this, enough food to last a few days in case of any unforeseen circumstances, and plenty of water, I had a 5 gallon supply of water just in case!
I also always carry multiple flashlights, a gun, and some basic tow gear (soft shackles, a...
