Nice! Thanks for posting! Midnight is still my choice for the R1S. Will be nice to start seeing them in person. I am strictly a black/white/charcoal guy with cars, but Rivian has sure made some nice colors!

For sure! It definitely was far less bright. Definitely had a little more orange, but was a pretty easy on the eyes red, coming from someone who thinks most reds (including the pics above) are way too bright. It has a more natural look if that makes sense. I think the configurator is actually...

I have seen Canyon Red in person, it did not look like this at all.

I LOVE the configurator version of limestone……this photo, not so much.

Yeah if the way this looks on the screen is even close….this is a miss. There are so many amazing grays, currently on the road, that they could have used and people would have been thrilled.

I have switched to these after seeing more pics. They were not on my radar at all based on the configurator.

What was your impression of Black? That is my current configuration for the R1S. My wife likes all black, I am not sold, would maybe do El Cap.

LE R1S, midnight, BM, ATs. Really hoping to get it in the window. I think LE is giving me a little hope….is what it is. Our range for a new build is taking 13 months….so I get it

I will certainly take delivery without a test drive, and I have purchased a car in the past without driving it. It does feel a little different buying a Honda Odyssey without driving it vs. a car that next to nobody has ever driven.
