I had this a few years ago (2023). From my understanding they put a EMI filter on the TPMS line to prevent interference from some other system that had wires running alongside of it. Never had an issue since.
What configuration do you have? Can you adjust the setpoint? Mine alarms at 48 as well but if I air down I’d love to be able to set a lower alarm point.
Yes. The door was all the way or at least mostly open and then fully shut. I only waited about a minute in all cases. My intent was to check if the locking of the door forced the hvac to shut off, which it does. My guess is that if you fully shut the door and it doesn’t lock then it will time...
I did a little test. I turned on the hvac and got out of the car and tried a few things. Left the door open with phone in truck and not in truck. Closed the door same for the phone. Locked the doors, phone was with me to lock the doors.
The only time the hvac turned off was when I locked the...
Greg, trying to understand your concern better so I can maybe explain. Is your worry that with a temperature set that the car will automatically try to keep that temp without you taking any action?
Unless you turn on the climate, and it will show a little running fan not just change the color...
I had something similar, when starting/stopping and also in/out of slow speed tight turns. Mine ended up being the subframe that was replaced with the newer version. I made videos of both sides of the truck (with the passengers help) hanging my phone out the window. That plus having the tech...
If it’s in the non-usable part of the windshield and you are only worried about it getting worse I’d get a well reviewed kit from Amazon and do it yourself to minimize the chance of spreading.
I just had these installed in my winter/off-road rims and they work just fine. Once in a while takes an extra 30 seconds compared to normal to get pressures but nothing to do but put them in and rove away and they work. Just about 300 miles so far and no issues.

I got this one (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D4X66VBS?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_4) mounted above my split garage doors to swap between my and my wife's car. Only issue is one of the bolts sheared when installing. Feels solid, has a pull that is slightly more than the weight of...
I just wanted to respond to this that I did not make this up. This is something that the service team had me do and has other people do as well. This is not something I pulled out of thin air.
I don’t know if you are aware but while your heart and brain don’t shutdown when sleeping, there are...
My Gen 1 R1T goes to sleep (screens off, lights off, etc.) also but if you have any of those things running the computers never really sleep. They are always listening for the Bluetooth or wifi or the gear guard is running. You don't see a difference externally, it just allows the computers to...
Just walking away from it is not enough to get the vehicle to 'sleep'. You need to turn off gear guard, proximity unlock, wifi, and then force close the app on your phone (also keep key fob away from vehicle). I believe this is all, but if you search around or contact service they can tell you...
I wouldn't say it is normal, I have left it sit for 3-4 weeks at a time while on travel and this didn't happen before. At least not to the point that it was rubbing the wheel well.
I have noticed the same thing starting about a month ago on my driverside front. If I let the R1T (2022) sit for more than two days then when leaving the driveway there would be a momentary rubbing when turning and again when straightening up. This happened two or three times. Starting about a...
As long as there isn't an actual low pressure condition in the tires there is no problem driving. If you don't have a handheld pressure gauge I would recommend grabbing one (always good to have).
Alternately, you can use the onboard compressor to ensure they are at pressure (just make sure to...
