The problem is they subtracted diesel from this equation, so it’s not really an apples-to-apples EV vs. Fossil fuels comparison.

Tell me more about this 1500kw generator option - what’s an example model you would use? I’ve been considering battery backup but it seems silly not to take advantage of the Rivian battery I already have, even if as a hack, until V2H is an option.

Here’s the one I use - it’s low profile, doesn’t have a light and installation is instant. Just wish I knew how to tap into the fuse like you guys talk about - for now I run it off the center console USB-C so I don’t think im getting the max wattage out of it. Plus the cable is as a result...

You mentioned this could power an amplifier, presumably for an add-on subwoofer - is that true? Any recommendations on routing the wire to the spare tire storage where the sub would be?
