    So there are now big incentives on current R1's that expire early March - coincidence? I've got a first day reservation for the R2, although I love my LE R1S I need something like an SUV to carry two recently adopted dogs - and would prefer quicker charging (and longer range) than my R1T.

    Thank you - you're correct, that it's pretty dumb. It's =fine for my wife's Tesla that charges faster with the smaller battery but not for my Rivian and SDGE's TOU-5 rate schedule where it jumps from ~8 cents (Super off peak) to 38 cents (Off peak) in Winter.
