Rivian has been paying for them the entire time, they always said this was temporary, but, not everyone heard that, or forgot, but it's been the plan the whole time.

When you say "they had to be replaced" it's more of a desire to replace, there's no functional reason you had to replace them, cracks in windshields out of the field of view do not require replacement.

the entire truck is more efficient from the more efficient motors, to less wiring, less ECU's all require less HV battery size, oh and the battery composition is different too.

Rivian said different gen 1 is limited because of the motors RPM limit, not the tires

I wouldn't pretend it's all that common, but, it happens, they have probably a 1% or lower screw up rate, I'm not trying to falsely inflate the number of issues they have had.

1 corner looks like this *front left* rear left is damaged less on the hole area, but enough to push the front of the panel down, where it cannot grab so it sticks down a centimeter from the middle panel on the truck rear right, slight damage, front right no damage

I'd just max it out with the new cameras having much higher quailty surely the files will be larger.
