You're not gullible. Just excited and looking for something truly innovative in transportation. Don't let the pessimism of others take that away from you.
Does anyone else find this alarming/frustrating? Power companies are going to be the biggest hurdle to energy independence. Their model is designed to be a centralized monopoly. They have even been working with local municipalities to make it illegal to go off grid.
