I was finally able to change delivery via the UPS site. Randomly, the UPS site doesn't behave well with US accounts accessed from overseas with or without using a US VPN (I've encountered this before.) I couldn’t change the delivery address but at least I could delay delivery a few days so that...
Well, temporarily I'm about 6000 miles from my old address and 5980 miles from my new address. I made arrangements with neighbors for delivery at my new address, but my old……who knows.
My guide gave me her usual one liner that's the equivalent of the military reserve salute or “I don't know.”...
I don't think it hurts the vehicle but it may diminish the effectiveness of the AC. They told me when I made my appointment that there's no rush. With Fall temps (at least in my area,) there's probably no noticeable effect. But then, I didn't notice any AC problems all summer, either.
AP, auto, stiff, high regen for city driving.
Conseve, auto, stiff, high regen for highway with no traffic when on trips or headed to park at the airport.
Sport, low, stiff high regen occasionally for fun.
Received the below email from Rivian today. I called and was surprised to find that the Atlanta SC had appointments available as soon as Monday., the 16th. I suppose the early availability is due to the short repair time required.
Rivian is initiating a customer satisfaction campaign for some...
I'm on the fence about canceling. My temporary plywood and pine tonneau is a pain to manage, but it doesn't leak..... and it only cost me about $50 to make. For $800 I'll get one from Rivian that's easier to manage but probably leaks. Or, I can cancel the order and get something else for less...
With 2023.30 I was just under 1% per day. After the 2023.34 update I'm at 1.7% loss per day. All the conditions were the same: 48 hour test, everything off, didn't wake up the vehicle. The only difference is that the average temps were probably a little less in the second test (should have been...
I recently reached out to my guide about when I might be receiving my manual tonneau. But I got the usual "don't know...no idea" (paraphrased) answer I get from her for everything. I believe the descriptive for my guide would be "useless.'"
I was at less than 1% loss per day with GG off before the last update. After sitting at the airport for 49.5 hrs with GG on, it lost 6.8 kWh or 2.5% per 24 hrs.
I'll run another check with GG off the next chance I get to see if the update has changed my vampire drain.
I'm really surprised that so many R1T owners feel that the new ride setting is an improvement. Is it better if the little road divots aren't felt but the truck's body is dancing all over the place like a drunken sailor?
Want to really experience the new body roll? Take evasive action at speed...
First off, I have a 2023 R1T on 21s.
I've stayed out of this debate because since the update I have only driven short distances on errands. But over the last couple of days I've driven a couple of hundred miles. And the ride in All Purpose/Soft is definitely worse. The main areas that are worse...
First off, my vampire drain is about 1% per day (sometimes less) with GG and AC off with the truck in the garage with temps in the mid 70's.
Since June, I've had to leave my R1T for 42 days and again for 28 days. The first time I charged to 85% before leaving and left it plugged in on a nightly...
Mine fixed itself yesterday as well. I didn't change a thing and noticed last night that the truck was still unlocked long after I had parked it in the driveway. I had to use the app to lock it and again this morning to unlock it. Gremlins.
I'm having the same problem. Overnight, the truck settles lower on the passenger front by about 1.5”. Stepping on the brake raises it to a level position without any warning messages.
As the truck lives on the driveway facing toward the street, it’s not a great advertisement for Rivian. As long...
I'm having this problem now too. Did you get it solved?
I was out of town for a month and left the truck in the garage plugged in, so I didn't update to 2023.26 until yesterday.
This morning the truck unlocked in the garage as I approached it. I checked the "Off at Home" setting and it's...
I charged the truck to 95%, left it plugged in with scheduled charges set at 70%. It has been 19 days and I haven't opened the app to check on the truck. Today I got a message from my Wallbox EVSE that the charging session was complete. So apparently the SoC finally dropped below 70% and there...
