  1. Connect+ only for refreshed Gen 2 R1? Or coming to Gen 1 also?

Connect+ is for Gen 1 and Gen 2. They want that subscription money and it doesn't rely on new HW.
  2. 8 steps with 2022 binding agreement

I would think you would skip. You have to file the amended tax return on your own. If you take the $3750 then you are using the 2024 rebate. Can't do both.

Also the team responsible for interoperability and getting them on board disappeared.
  4. Any updates on receiving the Tesla charging adapter?

I got mine on 5/23. Ordered on 5/1. Tried it out today and worked great.
  5. R1S Liftgate Randomly Opening

I am seeing the same problem. When we had some heavy rains it started opening on its own when put in park. Now it won't open or close at all with the button. I requested service and earliest date was July 1. Hopefully they switch it to a mobile appointment so that I don't have to drive 2 plus...
  6. “Refresh” prediction

Yes it was stated this is Peregrine and that is a cost reduction effort. Expect no new features.

  8. “Refresh” prediction

Very doubtful. They already announced a timeline for NACS port change. I don't thing they are changing things on the fly, and this shutdown has been planned out for a long time.
  9. Picked up R1S 3/31/2024 - broke two blocks later followed by a catastrophic failure

I had a similar situation with my Tesla Model 3 in 2018. 15 minutes into my drive home, all kinds of errors. They needed to replace some computers and I didn't have my car for over a month. They fixed it and it has been fine for 6 years now. Once they fix it, you'll be alright and no reason to...
  10. Parts retention on warranty repairs

All parts can be refurbished and used on other warranty repairs. Or scrapped for some value. Warranty is to replace parts. Out of warranty, you buy new parts so can keep the old ones if you want.
  11. Parts retention on warranty repairs

Parts replaced under warranty, no. Parts you pay for, yes.
  12. “Refresh” prediction

They are improving manufacturing processes and design to lower costs. So unless the item on your list lowers the costs to manufacturer, then it won't happen. This is a cost reduction effort. No increased options. It's not a refresh.
  13. Ford "PRICE WAR" drives RIVN under $10

It also signals general weakness in sales in the EV truck segment.
