I will admit, I am also interested to see the full reveal! Sounds like it’ll be quite a beast, and more competition in the space should continue to spur innovation (& more charging stations ;)).

I mainly remember thinking that the green interior is definitely not for me haha.

The light gray interior does look really sharp in person! I’ve started to steer away from dark interiors here in TX due to the summer heat, but the blue exterior/black interior looks awesome imo.

The ~$69k price for the mid-range truck was brought up shortly after the Cybertruck reveal I thought? Prior to that, I also expected the 135 kWh R1T with the electrochromic roof would be at least around $80k so this makes me very happy to hear again.

It has been stated many times in articles and things awhile back and it’s what I’ve been expecting all along. Not everyone was convinced though. This just seems like the most official statement now that we’re nearing production. Very excited.

Is this the first true confirmation that the R1T will start production about 3 months before the R1S?

I think it’s about 20 min outside of downtown Austin, but is a solid place.

Agreed, and have had a similar experience. I’ve had Toyo M/T’s, Nitto Trail Grapplers, and Toyo ATII’s. I plan to throw the ATII’s on the Rivian when it arrives (depending on available tire/wheel packages). Great tire.

Hook ‘em :rock: I will say I’ve never really been a fan of burnt orange on vehicles, but would be interesting to see Rivian implement it!

I’m kind of hoping for a metallic red. I was originally wishing for a metallic blue, but don’t see that happening after they revealed the current flat blue. I could see a ‘desert’ shade potentially happening too, similar to what you mentioned above.

I’ve had multiple white vehicles in a row now, and have been telling myself to branch out and go for something more exciting for my first EV. This doesn’t help! The R1S looks awesome in white.
