I actually drove by again about a week ago (Probably the 1st or 2nd, but now don't recall) and I still did not see any signs of work being done, at least on the exterior. No noticeable changes compared to my previous visit.
Hopefully that will change soon!
I drove by the Dallas location probably ~3 weeks ago now, and there was no visible progress being made. Planning to go by soon to check again (unless someone else recently has).
This would be awesome if it actually happens. Bet they would also really enjoy building a bunch for Texans there, and then shipping them out of state to be able to sell them here ?.
Correct. I was told all the way back at the COTA event that there would be no true "glovebox". They do have the under-seat pull out storage areas and whatnot to try to compensate.
I ”reserved” the Ace performance coupe many months ago now. Never received any sort of confirmation or any other communication afterwards. They keep showing some pretty cool ideas, but doesn’t seem like they really have anything other than ideas right now.
Yep! Right next to the Amazon center there. They won’t have to take their delivery vans very far if they’re also serviced at the same location. About 30 yards across the street lol.
Out of curiosity, I went and took a look today. No work has begun at the Dallas location at this point. I’ll probably swing by every 3-4 weeks or so to try to capture updates.
Just changed mine from Rivian Blue to Forest Green and Ocean Coast (R1S) ?
I’ve seen both in person (at least pre-production versions) and it’s always been a toss up for me. Decided today I’d rather use the $1k difference for accessories. Although now it seems that may delay me a bit if RB ends...
There are dash replacements available for all Tesla models I believe. Can swap out the wood trim for carbon fiber, alcantara, color matched trim, etc. I’m sure the Rivian aftermarket will pick up on this as well at some point.
