There’s no actual confirmation that there’s even a refresh that will be tangible to a buyer. The shut down was to revamp stuff save money on building vehicles, not adding features.
I thought you were going to be like all the Tesla fanboys and say Rivian should adopt the Tesla port location, but was very happy to see you say passenger front. Teslas port location is stupid, especially when some of their chargers are in small parking garage locations (downtown ATL, for...
I could close the tailgate of my Jeep Gladiator with one finger. I think the heavy tailgate of the R1T is amplified given the fact there's not a designated spot to grab and pull it up, so I do agree that it's kinda annoying.
Same with mine (quad), maybe even a little over the estimates when I don’t drive highway. I get around 2.6 mi/kWh commuting city / rural but going 75 on the freeway for a few hundred miles I get around 2.0-2.1. I’m sure if I drove the speed limit it would be much better.
It’s mostly due to air pressure but as the seals break in it will be better. My 2022 is almost like a “normal” car now but the passenger rear is still a little harder to close.
There’s also nothing saying a refresh will be “better”. From 2022 until now new vehicles have worse sound, less outlets, etc etc. I certainly wouldn’t specifically wait for a refresh expecting more value to the customer.
I have no idea what version my Model 3LR had, but unless they changed the requirement for torque on the wheel I don't see my opinion changing. Lane centering was great (especially since it can be used on regular roads) but the lack of driver vision monitoring and the requirement for torque on...
Gross, Tesla's autopilot is pretty bad. The fact you have to keep torque on the steering wheel is absurd and can be downright dangerous when it unexepectedly disengages.
If they named it something else it would be forgotten. Do you remember the name of the joint Toyota / Subaru EV currently being sold (without looking it up)?
