It does seem like the system is working now. I've barely had my truck three weeks and just got my TX plates delivered via UPS from "The Title Girl, Inc."
I actually got pulled over yesterday (about 2 weeks into my ownership) here in the Dallas suburbs because the police officers were curious about my unusual looking out-of-state temp tag and wanted to make sure everything checked out, apparently. I explained I purchased direct from the...
Yes, I second all of this. When you sit in the truck pre-tinting, you can feel the heat on your arms and legs through the windshield when the sun it hitting you directly. You DON'T feel any such thing through the roof glass, which makes me pretty confident it is doing its job.
I did get the...
Mine was delivered to my home in the Dallas area yesterday. Been great so far!
One interesting tidbit - my delivery person estimated around 200 R1Ts have been delivered to DFW and surrounding areas so far. I haven't seen one (other than my own) out on the roads just yet.
These are the ones I got (the Outer 54MM , Inner 46MM ones) and seem close-ish, but we'll see once I get a chance to try them. https://a.co/d/j7le3ak
If those don't work, I might try these next: https://a.co/d/5NQGPg8
Per Reddit (so YMMV) - an owner was able to change the wake word just by asking Alexa to change the wake word. I don't have my truck yet, so cannot confirm.
My question is why did the OP immediately run to YouTuber in question knowing that it was probably going to be a click-baity/negative article. Seems like the YouTuber had this content before it was posted in this forum - so did the OP proactively reach out to this YouTuber and sell the "scoop"?
Huge thanks! I found some on Amazon that I think will work, but I don't get my truck until Wednesday to make sure. If they fit, I'll post back and include the link.
Does anyone know what size the caps are, or have a link to where generic black caps can be purchased? The TWRAPS sticker size is 38mm, so I'm assuming that is the cap size, too? I think I'm going to try the 2D TWRAPS.
Update - delivery scheduled for this coming Wednesday. Less than two weeks from wheel change in the configurator to (hopefully, assuming inspections go well) truck in my driveway. They're definitely trying to increase those quarter-end delivery numbers.
Delivery scheduled for this coming Wednesday. Just barely over a week between guide assignment and delivery (if pre-delivery inspections go well). Looks like the quarter-end push is real!
I was in all these same windows, changed my wheels to 21s last Thursday, and also got a guide on Tuesday. This is happening to too many for it to be a coincidence. They clearly have more 21s available for builds at this point than 20s. Or, perhaps as has been hypothesized elsewhere, they are...
It sure seems that way. Add me to the list - I switched to 21s from 20s last Thursday, and was assigned a guide last night.
Here's hoping they're trying to get a bunch of these delivered by end of quarter! (seems like a bit of a stretch for me, but we'll see)
