Just picked up our R1S this past weekend. Similar to @Karen, live in the Lehigh Valley (i.e. near Allentown, PA). Willing to drive out towards Easton, PA area for a meet. Would go further but getting busy with holiday season!

I think you'll have it around Christmas. ? when it is ready at the SC, the time is short.

I've had a similar timeline, but started 11/14. I pickup the S tomorrow, fingers crossed. Moved faster than I expected once the ball is rolling.

Well, got an update (not the guide) from the Brooklyn SC today saying my S has arrived and going thru PDI...and asked me to schedule delivery. Appears the earliest is this Fri or Sat, but would be me picking it up at the SC. I set it up for Saturday afternoon (12/3) and will plan for the 2hr...

I hear ya...but don't stop counting until it's in your driveway! 1312 days here and still counting. Waiting on my guide to say when to make full payment and schedule delivery. Been 2 weeks since 1st contact and completing up to step 6.

agree, hope there is more movement on the 2018 and 2019 R1S preorders. I messaged my guide to get idea where the S was. She said 'it's in production' and said the standard 4-6 wk timeframe. Also to hold off on final insurance and payment until I get an update from her. Thanks to the forum...

Yeah, this sucks *ss. Got pushed into Jan-Feb of '23, too. So glad I ordered a Model Y for wife during price gate. At least that is being delivered next friday. Our 1st EV, so something to keep me occupied until the Rivian. Still pissed.

Yeah, Rivian's poor comms is such a beat down. No new news there... But at least we're 'suffering' amongst friends...lol.
