Yea, I watch my tires very closely and have for years⦠Even wear and rotations every 5-6k are very important⦠I do a lot of highway for work but several launches and towed about 300-400 miles with a 6klb boat on those down to 2-3mm tread lifeā¦
I should easily see 50k+ out of theseā¦
63k 2023 Gen1 Quad 2 ting washer replacements for knocking and one trim piece adjustment⦠I did find a factory stripped sub-frame bolt when installing my running boards that they replaced while it was in for the suspension check⦠All in about $250 in maintenance and just installed new Michelin...
Just got the Michelinās installed 116h 275/60/20 and much smoother and quieter ride! I rode out my stock 21ā to 43k they performed fine. Replaced with a set of 20ās from another owner and the ATās were noticeably worse all the way around⦠Got them w/20k and put 20k on them⦠So glad Iām back on...
Iām late to this thread but picked up my R1T in Febā23 62k miles later this has been an amazing truck!
Iām in Mount Juliet just East of Nashville but travel all over TN for workā¦
Same the tech road in the parking lot of the service center and said thatās far enough. Washers were replaced at 47k and again this week at 62k.
My concern now is they never considered even looking into the half shafts or hubs wearing. Now being outside of warranty how long until itās back and...
I had this come up at about 45k on my quad Jan ā23 build⦠They replaced the washers at 47k back in February this year⦠Then about 2 months ago it started happening again around 58k⦠I just got it fixed yesterday and they said theyāre using a different part now that should last and resolve the...
Didnāt have a need for a dual zone; so I picked up the SetPower RF25 that will fit in the frunk or under the tonneau. For just over $200 I felt like it was a good option to fit our needs for weekend camping and at the ball games!
Yes, this is equivalent to the 21ā and 22ā diameter set ups and is a 33ā overall. Now that we can program the vehicle on the fly itās significantly better in efficiency compared to a 34ā AT tire.
For comparison I started with the 21ās and averaged 2.46 lifetime efficiency for almost 43k...
Iāve experienced limited regen due to high state of charge or going down a steep grade and overheating. This was not the case and there was no warning. It went from working normal to free rolling no resistance with the only display notice being the regen bar just went whiteā¦
I can say I experienced this once right after the latest update⦠Left my house but truck hadnāt been parked long mid level state of charge and was in full regen then all of a sudden regen ceased 100% had to urgently apply the brakes for a stop that wouldnāt have otherwise required any input. But...
So yes the tire price is the same but there is a huge difference in the otd costs! This is where you have to get them to matchā¦
Costco is over $350 cheaper; Iāve not had a problem getting them to match in the past but you do have to go back and forth a bitā¦
Iāve got about 38k on mine and they were noisy in the middle of tread life more so than now theyāve worn down and noticed they got significantly less as the tread wore. Coming over from the stock 21ās that I got nearly 43k out of, Iāll be switching back to an AS Michelin here in the next 3-5k!
I went with a full size air bed 14ā model; plugs right into the bed for easy set up and take down and a pop up awning over the bed. Was a great set up and way better than strapping a confining tent not made for the truck⦠you can add a cheap mesh bug net to the canopy if needed!
I have a set of 4 that I can break up into spares I guess⦠tires are done but wheel in excellent condition. Stock tires have 42k on them and between 2-3mm of tread.
Iāll be down in Chatt for work the week of Labor Dayā¦
