  1. PSA for all Gen 1 owners! Check your carpets for signs of moisture

I’m sure we’ll get emails and a call at some random hour (typically around 7-8PM EST) a few months from now about each truck after they’ve already been fo the SC to get the issue repaired šŸ™ƒ
  2. PSA for all Gen 1 owners! Check your carpets for signs of moisture

Lucky you! This is how it should be. Unfortunately we haven’t gotten a communication about any of the three trucks affected. It’s also a lot harder to have service done 3+ hours away from the nearest SC. It’s the only SC serving all of Northern New England (I think? At least it’s the only one...
  3. PSA for all Gen 1 owners! Check your carpets for signs of moisture

I just picked my dad’s truck up and dropped mine off. Here’s the recap for the HVAC issue: Some not so great news… I was driving the loaner that they gave me, and my partner was in my dad’s truck. A few minutes away from the SC, my dad’s truck threw the same fault I’ve been having for months...
  4. PSA for all Gen 1 owners! Check your carpets for signs of moisture

That’s interesting. I find it hard to believe that my truck with VIN 10264 and your truck (which may well have been built the same day!) would have different HVAC drains, but I suppose anything is possible šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø I am also wondering how they determine which VINs have been affected by this issue...
  5. What'd you name / nickname your Rivian?

Quickbeam is my 2022 FG/FE Quad R1T. Bregalad in the common tongue seemed fitting, as he was a young and fast Ent.
  6. Cheap Bed Rack Option

I got in on the first group buy of the Autofit Pro topper from this thread https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/custom-made-rivian-r1t-truck-cap-topper-autofitpro-group-buy-interested.37848/ https://autofitpro.co/collections/rivian-truck-cap
  7. PSA for all Gen 1 owners! Check your carpets for signs of moisture

Ooof, that sucks! This is the first time I’ve heard that it’s a persistent issue (sounds like tonneau-gate all over again—which I’m about to have replaced for the 3rd time—with Gen 2 redesign this time, so hopefully for the last time šŸ™„). I had been assuming they redesigned the part(s) and had a...
  8. Delivery day, got called said need to reschdule

You’re right—that was a bit salty. I understand that some text/email/post in this way, but it makes it hard for me to take as seriously (or often even understand) the content of the message when the constructions lack punctuation or coherence. And just because it is a trend, doesn’t per se mean...
  9. PSA for all Gen 1 owners! Check your carpets for signs of moisture

It can’t hurt to ask for a mobile tech visit, if that’s possible to rule it out. When you submit the ticket, it will default to scheduling a SC visit, but I would call in and see if they’ll send someone to come check it out first (if it can be diagnosed remotely—I’m not actually sure of it can...
  10. Delivery day, got called said need to reschdule

I think OP has made it clear in all the posts I’ve read so far that this is a tall order. Grammar, punctuation, and coherent sentence construction do not seem to be skills he possesses or prioritizes (at least not on this forum as far as I can see). I rarely agree with the ā€œgood riddance, we...
  11. Cheap Bed Rack Option

This cost a lot more, but I set up our builder/facilities maintenance person with a cap that he made a rack for. It’s significantly improved the utility of the truck we lease for him. These photos were from just after he made the racks. He now leaves a crossbar on the rear of the roof and made...
  12. PSA for all Gen 1 owners! Check your carpets for signs of moisture

I agree! What’s concerning to me (and why I posted a PSA), is that for some reason our VINs weren’t a part of the campaign—so this was a known problem that they somehow failed to realize was an issue on our trucks (or failed to act/notify us). Our third truck I mentioned is a 2023, VIN 30585...
  13. PSA for all Gen 1 owners! Check your carpets for signs of moisture

I rarely clean the interior of my truck šŸ˜‚ when I do, I don’t use products, just a vacuum cleaner.
  14. PSA for all Gen 1 owners! Check your carpets for signs of moisture

tl;dr - Three of our four 2022/2023 R1Ts so far have wet carpets under the floor mats due to plugged HVAC condensate drain lines. One of them was bricked as a result of this issue. The sooner this is noticed, likely the sooner damage can be avoided. It can be hard to tell under rubber mats...
  15. Firmware Update Issue, Rivian Stuck on 2023.06.02 in Kazakhstan

My father’s is 5852 (it may have been the first delivered in VT). Mine is 10264 (a demo I got last May with 10k miles). We also have two employees in low 30k vins (30585 and 33523). Their trucks haven’t been perfect, but they’ve had a lot fewer trips to Chelsea than either of ours (though they...
  16. Firmware Update Issue, Rivian Stuck on 2023.06.02 in Kazakhstan

Another thing mine has been doing that might relate to your problems is that I seem to be having intermittent disconnections from the cloud servers. When I go to pre-cool my truck, I sometimes get an error on my app that says my truck isn’t connected to the cloud (even when it has WiFi/cell...
  17. Firmware Update Issue, Rivian Stuck on 2023.06.02 in Kazakhstan

I guess the AXM module is somehwere in the passenger front footwell area. It Yes, I suppose your thread makes my service woes seem a bit trivial šŸ™ƒ We have four Gen 1 R1Ts, and the two '22s have had a lot of issues, but we still put up with it for all the things Rivian got right with the user...
  18. Firmware Update Issue, Rivian Stuck on 2023.06.02 in Kazakhstan

Not to hijack the thread, but how do you find these "Customer Satisfaction Campaign Bulletins?" Is there some place to view a list of all of them? We have a few relatively early VIN R1Ts (5852 and 10264), both approaching the middle of their warranty periods and I'm trying to make sure I get...
  19. Firmware Update Issue, Rivian Stuck on 2023.06.02 in Kazakhstan

I'm wondering if you have an issue with your AXM module (a module that controls infotainment and autonomy). I have an issue that still hasn't been resolved where I have no radar, proximity sensing, or anything requiring those functions (no driver+, not even basic cruise control, and no automatic...
