Anyone having trouble with charging their truck. My truck shuts of charger after about 10mi

Just talked with a member of charging team at Rivian and he said nothing other than 6 AWG wire is supposed to be used. My electrician installed with 4 and 2 gauge wires and my charger has been cutting off after about 10min of charging.

Dont use any size bigger than 6 awg wire from instruction manual! My electrician used 4awg and now my charger isn’t working properly and cutting off.

My electrician is going to have to reinstall mine since he used 2 gauge wire instead of 6 gauge that Rivian said to use in manual. He also screwed up and instead of a 60amp breaker he installed a 50amp ?

It was 1200$ for the Rivian tech to come out and replace the two 12v batteries ? that couldn't be recharged once dead for more than acouple hours. Could be a major issue for owners who leave unattended. They need to fix the vampire drain issue soon.

6th Truck for me but by far the R1-T is the best and the others cant even really compare. Like my ‘04 Tundra for instance that the frame cracked and had to be junked. ?

Yes I agree the idea of placing in remote spots mostly and not where most people live around cities makes it easier to offer for free for the first year, when I would need to drive to Blowing Rock NC from Winston Salem to experience a free charge on the Rivian Network ?

I park outside the garage since wife has the one garage spot. ? so mine is outside some of us have to rough it.

I will try that for sure I have tried leaving a/c on leaving door open and unlocked nothing works so far.
