For what itās worth, I found little rhyme or reason to new inventory going up in the Shop. Weekdays & weekends, all different times - sometimes late evening, well past regular business hours.
Donāt want you to be too obsessive, but also donāt want you to think you can ignore it on weekends...
Had some hiccups at the same spot myself. If the charger has older firmware on it, youāll want to try to make sure the network name doesnāt have any spaces or non-alpha numeric characters in it (āJoesWLANā instead of āJoeās WLANā). You may also want to turn off your 5GHz network if you have one...
Final decision was to run 6awg copper wire the ~25ft to the 200W sub-panel in the garage. All 3 electricians said I was āborderlineā to use a 60A breaker, so we went with a 50A breaker for now and will only charge at 40A. If, at some point, we shift a condenser or two off of the sub-panel or get...
Count me in. This looks really nice and clean! When do you expect to put them on sale and start shipping?
EDIT: Was about to pull the trigger on your earlier version last week, but glad I didnāt!
Iāve seen several center console organizers now and admittedly none have really gotten me excited. I realize an organizer is a bit mundane to āexciteā anyone, but I guess I tend to want something to grab me a bit moreā¦
Any specific ones people love? Iād like a simple, easy to remove one...
Just some added info for you: My quotes for full XPEL Stealth wrap, all logos removed and all wrappable edges wrapped ranged from $5800-6500 from high-end detail shops. This is in comparison to the $4500 deal with Rivian for a pre-cut template application. I was able to get ceramic coating...
Iāve got a friend who had a Mar-Apr delivery estimate with front PPF. He was told his vehicle is built and waiting for PPF almost a month ago now with no updates from his guide since and no 8-step email. Meanwhile, I had a July-Sept delivery estimate, snagged one from the shop, and mineās...
One of the SC employees here in Phoenix said theyāre planning on another truck with a full-sized bed and a smaller crossover-like SUV. Take that for what you willā¦
Roger that. Thanks. Perhaps a separate question: Any idea on a ballpark cost I should expect? Heās cutting into drywall (not repairing after or repainting) for ~20ft away from the panel. He estimated $1500-$2000 for the project.
Yep. I bought the Rivian EVSE, so it sounds like Iāll ask my electrician about using 4ga and downgrading to 6ga using a junction box and see how he feels about it.
The run is only about 20ft from the sub-panel in the garage, but my understanding is that he has concerns about overloading the...
I like how you think. I live in Phoenix, and itās possible weād have all 4 units connected to that panel (we have a 5th on a separate 200A panel), the induction cooktop, and many of the lights on at once during the days where itās blazing hot. Itās a small chance, but itās there.
Is my...
Definitely hardwiring. Sounds like a 50A breaker shouldnāt be an issue with the jumper at 48A. Our daily driving is minimal and we can pre-prep for longer drives.
Going to gut into the drywall for wiring to ensure a clean, hidden look to the unit about 25ft from the panel. Cost was higher than...
Had an electrician over to assess our second 200A panel in the garage. Unfortunately, we have 4 condensers, 4 air handlers, a cooktop, and more on it already. His advice is to go with a hardwired 50A hookup to be safe.
Wondering if anyone has an estimate or experience enough to tell me what...
