I’ll be back in town tomorrow and planning to do a drive through to scope the lot. If my R1S hasn’t moved in the last 5 days I’m going to start scouring the jobs site at Rivian to help improve this process. ?. I’ll try and get some better pictures of the other R1S’s there too.

Unfortunately not yet. My guide thought it was possible for the 8th step to open this past week, but it didn’t. I’m hoping it opens early this week, and they were able to make progress on correcting pre-delivery inspection items. I’m not getting much sleep over here while waiting ?

Received the wall charger last Tuesday, installed it Wednesday, and now trying to sleep each night (unsuccessfully) as I wait for my R1S to pass pre-delivery inspections. 14’ run for my main panel to the garage. 60amp circuit.

From what I can tell, once you are matched to a vehicle it is 1-3 weeks till delivery.

Excellent photos and write up! I've had a hard time sleeping as I wait for the service center to prep my vehicle for delivery. Does anyone know how long that is usually suppose to take? I live less then 10 minutes away from the service center and hoping to pick it up before I go out of town...

Once the 8-step buying process opens, you can see your VIN. It will be the last 3-4 digits of the VIN.

I love driving with only 1 pedal, and hardly ever having to use the brake. Also never having to start the car was so simple and great. Also compared to my 2019 Raptor, I loved all the technology! I felt like I was driving an iPhone! ?
