  1. Squeaky Wheel Gets the Grease: Call Service (Edit: WRONG)

Based on personal experience and reports from others, don’t count on them ordering any parts in advance. Also a good idea to take good, detailed pics of your vehicle before dropping off in case anything gets damaged during repair process.
  2. Rivian Registration Issues

    First I’m hearing of this… ?
  3. Jeep Wave? Rivian Blink!

Most Rivian owners use the tocking, clunking, or squeaking noises to signify their presence. Verbally complaining about lack of CarPlay is also an acceptable greeting.
  4. Guest charging etiquette

I kind of look at it like allowing guests to use my pool, showers, and other electronics - generally good form to ask before helping themselves. It’s negligible in the grand scheme of costs and it’s not like they are trying to sleep in your bed or use your toothbrush.
  5. Advice on removing the visor stickers ?

The FAA prohibits tampering with or disabling visor stickers.
  6. Phone key unlocks the vehicle but cannot ready/activate it

Unpair/Forget all BT devices on your phone including the Rivian and delete as a key. Re-pair the Rivian first as a key, test to ensure it works, and then add back other BT devices.
  7. Locked out! Neither phone as a key nor key card worked.

After spending hours on the phone with Rivian and trying every other troubleshooting tip to no avail, it was a bit of a process of elimination. I happened to notice that the only time my PAAK worked was when I was listening to my AirPods. It wouldn’t work while using other BT devices so I...
  8. Locked out! Neither phone as a key nor key card worked.

I had the exact same issue early in ownership and also linked the failure to my AirPod pros. Glad you were able to get it sorted out.
  9. No plates, Day 12 using rental car.

It’s so bad that it almost seems intentional.
  10. Products for interior/exterior cleaning?

In the past, I’ve used Goo-Gone in light application with a soft sponge and then a cleaner (like the Cockpit Premium product I linked above) to remove the Goo-Gone. Either way, you will probably need some sort of a gentle organic solvent to liberate the sunscreen and then a cleaner to lift the...
  11. Products for interior/exterior cleaning?

Adam’s makes a great newish detailing spray that I have been using with great results: Graphene Detailer I also really like their tire and trim protectant. Perfect amount of shine: Adam’s VRT
  12. Rivian home charger no longer recording history

Same boat - no data for September. Fortunately, I don’t have much need for keeping track of it.
  13. Products for interior/exterior cleaning?

This stuff is great for preserving and rejuvenating weather seals or any exterior soft rubber pieces. https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004B8GTQG/ref=sspa_mw_detail_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9kZXRhaWwp13NParams
  14. Products for interior/exterior cleaning?

Sonax makes really, really good products and is what I use on my sports cars. Their wheel cleaner is magic but I have not found use for it on my EV because there is little to no brake dust generated the way I drive. One of the highlights of the Rivian thus far is how nice my wheels look after a...

Hands down, this stuff is the best for cleaning touch screens, instrument clusters, and interior surfaces. https://www.detailersdomain.com/products/1z-einszett-cockpit-premium
  16. My camp mode leveling initial review

I wonder why we didn’t hear about more suspension heat issues back when the ride height was constantly adjusting. Did the air movement while driving provide enough cooling to prevent that from happening or is this leveling process just more thermogenic?
  17. Broken Suspension on R1T ? during PNW Rivian group trip: WA BDR.

Everything is good now with my R1T but I had a rough go for the first few months between registration issues and some mechanical problems. I made the mistake of selling my other vehicle shortly after taking delivery of my R1T. I was a little naĂŻve and overly optimistic that I would not need a...
  18. Weathertech Cargo Liner for R1S available in 6-8 weeks

This is great news. I have been very happy with their products in my other vehicles and the coverage looks better than the Rivian offering.
  19. Broken Suspension on R1T ? during PNW Rivian group trip: WA BDR.

That’s what they initially claimed but I doubt they can deliver that service or advertise that much anymore. When I was contacted by my guide back in Feb to let me know that my vehicle was imminent, I let him know that I was having second thoughts because I am 3 hours from nearest service...
