  1. PSA: Discount Tire / America’s Tire will sell Road Hazard warranty and lifetime Road Force Balancing with free rotation if you have < 2,000 miles

They checked my mileage and measured my tread wear with calipers. Not sure what the threshold is, but I only have 1800 miles…
  2. PSA: Discount Tire / America’s Tire will sell Road Hazard warranty and lifetime Road Force Balancing with free rotation if you have < 2,000 miles

Stopped in today (Tempe, AZ, store) and purchased Road Hazard Warranty as well for $299.97. Manager said they’d even cover off roading issues (rock in tire)! Feel good about my purchase. ??
  3. Want to buy: Wristband Key ($125)

They are. I assume there are potentially multiple different ways, but you can open a ticket to have the wristband reassigned to a different vehicle. I’ve done this once already after purchasing an aftermarket wristband. You need the code on the wristband and your vehicle, but it’s possible. Not...
  4. Want to buy: Wristband Key ($125)

Figured I’d toss this out there to the community if anyone has one they’re not using or sold their Rivian and wants to make a bit extra. Want to buy a wristband key for a buddy of mine with a ā€œtwinā€ R1S Adventure build. Prefer local pickup (in Phoenix area), but willing to do via Venmo/PayPal...
  5. WeatherTech R1S Rear Cargo Liners Are Here

I can confirm this as well. Snug fit, solid construction (maybe just a bit thinner than I expected). Surprised the rear cargo under-delivers…
  6. WeatherTech R1S Rear Cargo Liners Are Here

Well, this certainly looks cleaner, but agree it has limited use cases. Tend to think it’d be quite a bit more versatile to a larger audience as a 2-piece setup. Even with the ā€œsloppyā€ edges, being able to use it with 3rd row both up and down (and the spare compartment cover both ramped and...
  7. Dash rattle, pull to the right, and rear vibration noise issues: FIXED! -- cause & solutions list

One extra thing to note: I was sincerely impressed with how thorough the Phoenix SC was. And ā€œJacobā€ provided updates regularly via text and real-time assistance/responses. Shout-out to the Phoenix SC and Jacob for the level of customer service! While I noted mentally that they didn’t touch it...
  8. Dash rattle, pull to the right, and rear vibration noise issues: FIXED! -- cause & solutions list

Exactly how I’d have described my rattle noise. Yes, it was minor and livable, but I figured I’d include it since I had more serious issues and was bringing it in anyhow. The missing ā€œHVAC ductā€ admittedly caught me off guard a bit. Didn’t even notice any issues with the HVAC… I suppose...
  9. Dash rattle, pull to the right, and rear vibration noise issues: FIXED! -- cause & solutions list

Took my R1S into the SC a couple of weeks ago to fix a list of ā€œsmallā€ (but annoying) issues. Three of the key ones that I’ve seen multiple times on this forum were fixed (hallelujah!), so I thought I’d include the root causes that were found in case others are experiencing the same problems...
  10. WeatherTech R1S Rear Cargo Liners Are Here

Ditto. Until a manufacturer can commit to a 2 piece contoured solution to cover both the area behind the 3rd row cargo as well as behind the 2nd row when the 3rd row is down (my config 95% of the time), I’ll have to wait. Hate to buy a mat for behind the 3rd row and then have to switch suppliers...
  11. WeatherTech R1S Rear Cargo Liners Are Here

Ooof. Brutal. Thanks for being the guinea pig for these. I’ve been waiting for something like this for a while (no one seems to have one that covers the area with the third row down, preferably two pieces) and almost pulled the trigger on these until I saw your PSA… ?
  12. What was your trade-in experience?

Traded in a 2008 Volvo XC90 with ~65K miles on it. The rear differential was going out, which made it a bit noisy when driving. Trade in value was offered at $3300, which I thought was a bit low, but not bad considering the rear diff issue. To answer your question directly, the actual process...
  13. Electrify America burns a Rivian down

Read this article while literally charging at an EA station for the first time to test it out before a long road trip. Of the 8 chargers I stopped at, all 8 were available and appeared working. My card was accepted first time and my R1S charged without issue. Test successful. But don’t think I...
  14. StowNCharge by Adventure High Tech - Out Now!

Doh. I still show ā€œsold outā€. Did you already sell the entire run of inventory in under 5 minutes? ā˜¹ļø
  15. Auto-volume adjustment on audio music playback…?

Huge help. Was just about to go out to the garage and start hunting!
  16. Auto-volume adjustment on audio music playback…?

Thanks. At least I know I’m not drunk (or at least not THAT drunk).
  17. Auto-volume adjustment on audio music playback…?

Not sure if it’s just me, but it seems like when I have music playing, the volume level auto-adjusts depending on my speed. The actual volume number setting doesn’t change, but it grows noticeably louder once I pass about 50mph. The assumption here is that it’s trying to adjust based on assumed...
  18. Yellow logo floor mats not available for purchase from gear shop

Some people? I mean… Using your logic, feel free to buy these out. After all, they’re just floor mats.
  19. Yellow logo floor mats not available for purchase from gear shop

Disappointing indeed. I even had one CS agent tell me to buy the black and then return them when they come out with the yellow logo. When I called back in a few days later to verify, the next agent literally laughed at the previous agent’s proposal and said the yellow logo mats are never coming...
  20. Yellow logo floor mats not available for purchase from gear shop

CS gives me different stories every time I call. Some say it’s discontinued with no intent to bring it back. Others say it should be replenished ā€œvery soonā€. In classic Rivian fashion, it’s a guessing game.
