  1. New shoes! My 20" All-Terrain Dark wheels on Compass Yellow R1T

will definitely do that once the service center in Vancouver opens up. From the pictures it looks similar to the yellow I had on my jeep. Atleast on my phone screen lol.
  2. New shoes! My 20" All-Terrain Dark wheels on Compass Yellow R1T

I used to have a yellow jeep and I loved it. Everyone knew me for that lol. The contrast with the yellow and black on yours really makes both pop from the pictures. Good job! I’ve only seen silver in person for the rivians.
  3. New shoes! My 20" All-Terrain Dark wheels on Compass Yellow R1T

Looks great!! I think I’m sold on either this yellow or the red.
  4. Replacement battery cost

I’d say it depends on what you are coming from. I’m coming from a ram1500 where I was spending about 120-140 a week in gas. I’d say without the battery saving big time. If I had to change the battery eventually that will obviously change things but I think I’d still come out ahead.
  5. No Drama Rock Crawling in R1T w/ 20″ AT, 30PSI, Rock Crawl Mode, Highest Suspension, Hold Enabled

Right on. I’m sure it’s steeper then the camera shows as well. But the truck made it look easy.
  6. Pleased with Conserve mode's efficiency over 900 mile trip

Ya that makes sense. Being a millwright and knowledgeable on hydraulics electrical and such I probably should’ve put a little more thought into it I guess lol. But I’m on holidays so I try not to think. ?
  7. RV Park as a Charging Station Option?

Wow…. Good ideas! I never even thought of this. ??
  8. SnazzyLabs: “The Best Electric Car Ever Made - Rivian R1S Review”

I could see that. That’s just something jeep owners do for oversized tires as it’s a lot of weight on that little tailgate.
  9. SnazzyLabs: “The Best Electric Car Ever Made - Rivian R1S Review”

They should borrow from jeep and use their spare system. A mount on the tailgate. Or like was suggested a swing out system. Could be mounted to the bumper like many jeep aftermarket ones.
  10. Pleased with Conserve mode's efficiency over 900 mile trip

I’m surprised at the range it gets at those speeds… Just as a comparison my konas range estimate is pretty accurate until I approach 60mph. At 60 it’s still fairly accurate unless hills come into or wind. But if I cruise at even say 65mph the range starts dropping drastically. At 70 I’d say...
  11. Official Range Reduction by Wheel Size

? I see a lot of only to 70% on here. My Hyundai suggests only to 80% unless going on a road trip. I wonder which is better to go by. I usually allow it to get to 30-40% before recharging. So I only really charge mine about 1-2 times a week. Driving about 70kms (round trip) a day to work...
  12. Pleased with Conserve mode's efficiency over 900 mile trip

You guys are making me curious to go see what I’m getting in my kona.
  13. Ev apps? What do you use?

? yeah different one. Although to be honest I’ve never looked to see if it has an ovulation thing in there. This is the one I mean lol.
  14. Ev apps? What do you use?

I use PlugShare, FLO, bchydro, and ChargePoint. I wasn’t sure which I needed when I got my Ev so I installed like 6 or 7 of them. But the ones stated above are the only ones I’ve used so far. I normally just preload a balance onto them and too it up as needed. But I think plug share is one of...
  15. ⛔️ Powered Tonneau cover removed from R1T production until further notice on all future deliveries

I’ve been in the manual or no cover side since the get go. I have yet to see a power tonneau that has been reliable. 4 buddies have powered ones on their trucks I had the old 3 flip manual. Every one of them has had issues with theirs. Even when they worked I was in and out of mine quicker...
  16. Rivian drops Max Pack from latest post? ?

Valid points…. Here in bc Atleast in lower mainland there is a pretty good infrastructure in place so far. I can drive to the interior and not have to worry about chargers or a lack of em. But I do get what you’re saying about being more convenient to be able to get further per charge as well...
  17. Rivian drops Max Pack from latest post? ?

Agreed… For daily purposes large pack will be more then adequate for I would think 75-80% of people. Lots of people complain about having to stop to charge on the way somewhere when I talk to ppl about road trips but quickly change their mind when I ask if they ever stop for lunch on a road...
  18. Rivian drops Max Pack from latest post? ?

If the large pack performs as well as the Ev kona I’m driving now. Then that’s good enough for me. Sure it would be nice to not have to stop to charge when going to visit my parents and go atving around the area they live in but if it can do it while just stopping once like the kona can then...
