Sure it was. The gasoline powered crew cab F150 is also the same length as the Lightning.
The Cybertruck isn't any longer than either the ICE or EV F150, so... Gotcha ?
It's simply incorrect to say the Cybertruck is larger than ANY comparable F150.
Everything in my post is correct. You called the Cybertruck enormous.
It doesn't matter if Tesla released specs yet... They have the damn truck on display and the exact dimensions are easily found online. I'm sure they will post specs once the production versions are ready.
How on earth can...
I'm not sure how the rumor got started that the Cybertruck is enormous.
Let's be clear and stop the misinformation.
The Cybertruck prototypes are somewhat similar in size to other full size trucks such as the Lightning F150, but it's actually slightly shorter in length and height and is also...
I'm pretty sure you will get the $7500 rebate if you take delivery of the Rivian this year.
Most of the new restrictions are not yet in effect.
The only new requirement between now and the end of 2022 is that the vehicle final assembly must take place in North America.
If Rivian can't deliver...
That's not a logical fallacy. Anybody who sits on a piece of glass expecting it not to break is an idiot.
You just suggested that she only sat on the edge of the roof, so that shouldn't count. Yeah... You got me. Why didn't I think of that ??
Agreed. 400 miles is a game changer and will help a lot of people transition to EVs who have been holding out for this sort of range.
I'm really intrigued by the fact that Rivian's max pack R1T is substantially cheaper than the Mercedes or any other vehicle offering 400 mile range. It is...
Ford has not announced any vehicles with a range longer than the Lightning, which is 320 miles. Nowhere near the 400 miles Rivian claims is coming for the R1T. Hoping for and expecting future EVs from Ford to have a longer range is reasonable and is likely to happen, but that doesn't make my...
I'm always on the lookout for news regarding upcoming EV vehicles, so I don't know how I missed something like this.
I can't find news of an EV from Ford or Porsche offering a vehicle with anything approaching a 400 mile range.
Does Porsche even have a vehicle that can get 300 miles?
The fact that not a single person selected option 1 in the survey speaks volumes about how much confidence people do NOT have in Rivian's ability to A) Meet self imposed timelines and B) Communicate promptly when they know they are going to miss a key timeline.
That's probably your issue. Other posters commented that their AC only cools off quickly if they turn on all the vents. Also make sure your rear vents are on.
I've also seen posts by multiple people that their R1 was delivered low on freon, so that's a possibility as well.
Good luck sorting...
Are you sure you have every vent turned on? Other posters mentioned their vehicles were delivered with some vents in the off position requiring the owner to manually turn them back on.
If you had an R1T reservation, I would understand your concerns, but they literally just started delivering the R1S a few weeks ago.
Your post makes it sound like you've been getting skipped for months or years.
You should at least give them a few months before you start accusing them of not...
I'm pretty sure he did make a reservation and then got an invite to the R1 shop almost immediately, which allowed him to buy his truck.
He also benefitted by getting preference though some sort of friends and family program.
Nope.
I emailed customer service last week and was told updated delivery window would be available by the end of October.
They just keep failing to meet their self imposed communication goals over and over again.
You've barely had the truck for 1.5 months, and it doesn't seem unusual or concerning to you that you've already needed mobile service and drop off service for a brand new vehicle? There are vehicles for 1/3 the cost that go years without needing the shop.
Right... I totally misread your post. I thought your guide already reached out to you 4 times this week alone based on your post, but then I reread it and noticed you are referring to how many times you contacted your guide... Not the other way around.
I think it's reasonable to expect a...
Hmm... My takeaway is that I've either been lucky or other people are really unlucky.
I've bought 3 new vehicles within the last few years including one higher end make, one Chrysler, and one 2021 Ford Mach E delivered fairly early in production.
Not one of these vehicles has ever had to go to...
Although your point is valid, the OP is absolutely correct.
It is not normal for brand new vehicles to have so many defects.
Your truck shouldn't have a "few issues" as soon as it's delivered.
If you think the fact that most people have some issues with the truck at the time of delivery or...
I agree. People keep mentioning all sorts of arbitrary cutoffs online, but the bill puts no expiration date on using the old tax credit as long as the binding agreement was signed before 8/16/2022.
