  1. R1S Delivery Question For Those Who Ordered in 2021

Mid 2021 order. Originally had a 1H 2023 window. R1T orders seem to be getting filled with less and less gap between reservation and delivery, so with production ramping up maybe the R1S will be the same. I'm not holding my breath. If my next window gets pushed to too much later than mid 2023...
  2. Texas Roll Call

I saw those parked along the fence at Maple as well. I thought they may be First Mile demos.
  3. Rivian refuses to reinstate my preorder...

Post your proof here. What do you have to lose? I mean they can't lurk on the forums and cancel your non-existent reservation.
  4. Texas Roll Call

I drove by the Dallas SC today and I would guess there were 30-40 R1Ts, 3 coming off a transport as I was there. There were also 2 Launch Green R1Ss and 1 El Cap R1S, all with 20s I believe
  5. Rivian already starting to give me Tesla vibes (and not in a good way)

If you are that unhappy then flip it, take the profit, and buy whatever brand you feel will live up to your expectations. There isn't a single R1T out there that won't sell for more than you have in it. If you feel like Rivian makes improvements in their quality and processes in the next few...
  6. Never received delivery estimate R1S

My original (and still only) window email came on 12/28/2021. I believe the only R1S updated delivery windows were for those already assigned a 2022 timeframe. If you originally had a 2023 timeframe, you won't get an updated window until later. My window was first half 2023, so I wasn't really...
  7. Rivian in Texas

The service center has 8 R1Ts sitting on the grass outside. None were tagged. I think almost all the wheel choices were represented. Anyone in Dallas waiting for delivery on a Launch Green?
  8. Registration fees

In Texas, the base fee is $54/year for vehicles 6000-10000lbs. Add on a few little things here and there and until Texas imposes an EV tax like ajdelange mentioned (which they surely will because...TX) it will be at or under about $120/year if I recall from my last registration
  9. Registration fees

Doesn't that depend on your state? Would be hard to compare across the board. For example, Texas is a flat fee based on weight.
  10. Received an email from Rivian updated on 05/2922 please see attached pictures

It seems to be happening quite a bit over in the R1T posts. See the one about someone who was 40 days from order to (anticipated) delivery.
