I love my camp speaker so much, it never leaves the house!
J/k, it's quad motors for me. I've got some ag land with a gravel trail for a driveway and steep terrain, so simply pulling onto my property requires some light off-roading. I've seen several other trucks struggle to scale the gravel at...
Really? Parts of the RUS are ferromagnetic: https://www.rivianforums.com/forum/threads/psa-on-loose-underbody-shield-bolts.6744/post-232270
I thought the rest was carbon fiber. This is the first I've heard of aluminum and plastic for the RUS.
Yes it's been discussed a few times here. You can search for the threads but I think the summary is that you should only use chains on the rear tires and keep the suspension normal or high. Based on other experiences posted here I bought a set of chains for my 20" ATs (though I've never used...
I submitted a service ticket early on. They compared my camp speaker to the ones they had on hand and said it worked as expected. They did not compare it to any other Bluetooth speaker. The Bellevue SC dismissed my concerns and I'm convinced they could not care less.
Don't most PV setups use microinverters to transport AC power to the batteries, where another inverter switches back to DC? If I'm wrong I'd love to learn more.
Such a system doesn't exist yet, according to the guy designing my PV off-grid setup. I really which I could DC fast-charge my home batteries from the truck, so I could bring home a tank of electrons from the grid- connected fast charger in town. That could help me get through a stretch of gray...

I had several service issues within the first few months that might not be possible for a remote technician to fix. I'm glad I was still in Seattle during that time.
I would not have wanted to be stuck with any of these problems for an extended period:
Rear window permanently stuck open.
USB-C...
I loved having a physical button on the Model S to fold the mirrors. It was easy to find without looking, which matters when a large vehicle is coming your way on a tight road.
I also profoundly dislike how Birds Eye view is rendered useless by tucked mirrors. Rivian really whiffed it on this.
I love the distinctive look of the R1 headlights and light bar. However, as a child of the eighties I can't say I'm fond of the taillights.
What aspects of the R1 do you want to see in the R2?
I second PIN to drive, but also PIN to unlock display, frunk, gear tunnel, gear guard cables. Keep the nav locked behind the display PIN so prowlers can't see my Home location.
Stargazing mode - illuminate dim red lights on exterior light bar and interior screen.
Exhume the buried odometer /...
