Didn't see these R1S wallpaper quality images posted here before. Noticed for the first time the nice patterned or textured floor mats. Will hide dirt better than black would. Hope they keep that for production.

Nice piece and video. Wish there was more footage of the Rivians especially showing how they deal with the snow and rougher terrain though. But I get that they want to convey the lifestyle and joy that Rivian will bring us future owners :)

Have my deposit down too for the R1T pickup. Unless pre-orders are unexpectedly good or 1st year production is highly constrained, I think all pre-orders will probably end up being 1st year production model. But hopefully by Rivian being a smaller nimble startup, fixes to issues can be rolled...

It'll be the most expensive base price for a pickup truck out there at least until Tesla's offering. There's no denying the savings and performance benefits of electifying pickups but to justify the price you have to really buy into that, and ignore the issues of range anxiety on steroids...
