  1. Humid air causing fogging on all glass surfaces?

Yeah, as a recovering chemical engineer, I get this. Sounds like there was some kind of valve problem preventing dehumidification. It was like hot swamp air was being blown in our faces most recently.
  2. Humid air causing fogging on all glass surfaces?

Mine had been doing it intermittently for the last 6-10 months but really noticeable since the weather turned. I was at the Portland service center. They replaced the inside of components of the HVAC and now the issue the issue has been resolved. So stoked to not have instafog with the HVAC...
  3. Humid air causing fogging on all glass surfaces?

Turns out the entire HVAC system needs to be replaced because of some faulty valve causing the problem.
  4. Humid air causing fogging on all glass surfaces?

Turns out the entire HVAC system needs to be replaced because of some faulty valve causing the problem.
  5. SOLD: Blizzak Tires for 20” wheels (tires only) - $875

And tbh, I'm not even sure the LT3s will be much of an improvement. I wanted the R5 EVs but I don't think they make one in the 20" wheel size (275/65R20). If the Michelin Alpin 5 worked for the 20" wheels, I'd have ordered it already. The Michelin Alpin series is amazing.
  6. Humid air causing fogging on all glass surfaces?

Well, the Rivian folks called me first thing this morning to get the car in for diagnostics. They lent me a R1S Dual Performance. A little laggy compared to the Quad R1S but fun to drive. Hopefully this issue gets resolved ASAP! Have a trip coming up and many up to the mountain.
  7. SOLD: Blizzak Tires for 20” wheels (tires only) - $875

I want to try the Hakka LT3s. I have Blizzaks on everything and wanted to give the Nokians a try. I was +/- on the Blizzaks but that might just be the physics of the 7000 lb car. Best traction I ever had was Model Y with Pilot Alpin 4s…
  8. Humid air causing fogging on all glass surfaces?

Good question, what should it be? I think I’ve had it on both recirculating and fresh intake but will pay closer attention to both.
  9. Humid air causing fogging on all glass surfaces?

Has anyone else experienced this? Pretty egregious. HVAC on heater and defog reliably reproduces this issue when it’s relatively cooler outside. Kind of a safety issue as it pops up 5 min into a drive or 30-60 min into a drive. Seemed to happen intermittently last year but now reliably does so...
  10. SOLD: Blizzak Tires for 20” wheels (tires only) - $875

    Oops! Portland, OR
  11. SOLD: Blizzak Tires for 20” wheels (tires only) - $875

Like new driven < 1500 miles in snow last season. Tires only. Fits 20” wheels.
  12. Yakima EXO Hitch Hauler installed for ski season

Totally makes sense and wish that I were just a mile from skiing! If I end up with an Exo, probably will do the same if I can’t open the lid enough to easily get ski boots in/out. Kuat doesn’t make one yet, but I really hope they do! Luckily have some other ways of carrying skis in the meantime...
  13. Yakima EXO Hitch Hauler installed for ski season

Why the box on top and not on bottom? Looks like you’re obscuring your view and exposing your skis/boards to road debris. Thought about getting this system but really hate to leave Kuat’s awesome hitch system. I think they have a slicker way of taking out the slop between the hitch/receiver.
  14. Winter Tires: Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT 275/65 R 20 126/123Q ordered. Experience / reviews?

Link? Looks like the R5 and R2 from Nokian, not the LT3s unless I’m looking at the wrong posts.
  15. Winter Tires: Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT 275/65 R 20 126/123Q ordered. Experience / reviews?

I haven’t seen any comparisons of the LT3 Nokians vs. the Blizzak LTs.
  16. Failed towing experience

With elevation, driving that speed, and only having 85% to start, I’m not surprised this was your experience. Could the range estimator be better? Absolutely. Sounds like the new software update learns your trailer and you can save specific trailers to different profiles. I think you could’ve...
  17. Winter Tires: Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT 275/65 R 20 126/123Q ordered. Experience / reviews?

Man, I’m so glad you shared this. I was sad about missing out on Hakkas but now am stoked to do an apples to apples comparison of blizzaks across multiple cars. Love the blizzaks, wish they lasted longer.
  18. Rivian Adventure Network Update - Billing to begin Early November

They should have a gratis amount of charging (either time or kWH) associated with each Rivian purchase.
