That's about all I got out of this video. From what I could see the graphics looked great, kinda like the F150 animations when you switch drive modes. Driver screen looks nice and bright which is nice
So have they shown a picture of the customer part of a service center yet? The description makes it sound like an office for designers that work there with a window into the garage
I'm hoping they make it too. The energy density that they talked about in the PowerPoint from a few months ago when he talked with Sandy Munro is what has me most excited. Most 2170 cells are in that 270-300 Wh/Kg range, Tesla with the new 4680 is targeting 480-500 Wh/Kg, but QS was talking...
Looking forward to the driving stories going through WY and MT. Watched a video of the Out of Spec guys and a Tesla YouTuber going across Montana and it looked painful. Super slow driving to maintain range, charging at random campsites and businesses. Hopefully they get some RAN locations...
I guess I always equate mall cruiser to where it spends most of its time, but your definition makes sense.
But then thats like my use case for a truck too. Pickup runs at Home Depot or furniture stores instead of job sites and the only off-roading is going to the farm or the gun range
Most vehicles are mall cruisers when you get right down to it. For me it would be hard to justify something like this being solely devoted to off-road purposes given the handling ability and the price tag.
So the city had them put in the L2? That makes sense then if its for cost cutting.
Unfortunate that we can't see the Rivian Waypoint in the wild but thats ok
