Yep, we also experienced that the registration fees on a lease in Texas were "as big as Texas". Wow. That was back in the '90s. Maybe things have changed since?
I’d originally posted this question when I was thinking of swapping out of my order into a shop vehicle. However, everything worked out and I took delivery of my ordered R1T TriMax on Saturday. I’d ordered it with the front panel protection option that was available to check back in August. It...
I might add that if any of you are looking for someone who does on site tire mounting, swapping and storage, I've been using SJTires for several years now. They give great service and have handled my Mach-E and all of my prior ICE vehicles with care.

We took delivery on Saturday 12/14/24 at the Denver Service Center of our new R1T TriMax in Rivian Blue. Nathan took us through the paperwork and gave us a thorough introduction to the truck. We ordered with 22“ MS tires, so awaiting swap to the Nokians coming this Thursday before we take it up...
IMHO Rivian is doing far better with provisioning the NACS adapter than Ford. I got in line on April 1 for my Mach-e and am still waiting 7 months later. Seems to me there's more to the delay than just Tesla's slow provisioning to the 3rd parties.

No, they are the 22"ers.
Just finished reading another thread on this, and feel like I'll be getting some actual snow tires like the Nokians or Blizzacks.
I think I know the answer to this, but...
I have an R1T Trimotor on order that appears to be nearing the end of production. I ordered with the all seasons, as I want the range, but wondering what folks experiences have been in the snow with those?
On my Mach-E GT which came with road...
The video review is actually pretty balanced, praising the driving characteristics but pointing out some of the concerns as well as how people either love or hate it. Not my cup of tea but if this is how Elon wants to spend his millions, probably better than what he's doing with brain implants!
