  1. Window doesn’t close completely

So when I had this issue, the window would go up 75% and then stop - no way to get it to go higher. I tried pulling it up gently and it would not go higher. After sitting for 3 days without being used, it magically started working again. The service tech was at my house today for other issues...
  2. Anyone else getting bugged by Rivian about “underbody” inspection needed?

I just got my inspection completed by mobile service. They did the front suspension inspection and also did one on the rear that others mentioned in this thread. Both inspections were just to check the torque on a few bolts. If the bolts were too loose they needed to follow up with possible...
  3. Anyone else getting bugged by Rivian about “underbody” inspection needed?

It’s different than the rear toe link since I have both inspections scheduled on my truck. I can see from the service estimate that they’re checking the torque on two bolts. Not sure which ones.
  4. Anyone else getting bugged by Rivian about “underbody” inspection needed?

Also got the call and messages from rivian on Friday night at 9pm. They left a voicemail that sounded fairly urgent. When I called back they said it was nothing concerning. But mobile service is coming this Friday to inspect. I’ve only heard of a few people getting this so not sure why ours came...
  5. MA - $7,500 MOR-EV Truck Incentive

In my experience, they always responded to the email, but it would take a while. Could be a week or two. They were very helpful in pushing the application forward but you have to be patient. Process took about 2 months from first contact to check.
  6. Will I be the only Rivian in New England?

Signatory is the name of the person that’s signing the document. Title is their title at the business that is applying for the rebate. This makes sense in the context of a business that’s applying. If you’re an individual applying for the rebate, put your name and then NA as the title. That’s...
  7. Inspection added by Rivian to Mobile Service

In the app, go to service —> appointments —> find you upcoming appointment for service —> work estimate at the bottom.
  8. Inspection added by Rivian to Mobile Service

I have service scheduled in September and they added this to my work order as well. Said it was not a recall but was a ā€˜containment’ they were doing for trucks that come in for service. There’s also one to update the key fob firmware.
  9. Window doesn’t close completely

Yeah, I tried gently ā€˜helping’ it up as it rose to see if it was getting stuck. I don’t think there’s anything blocking it or that it’s stuck. I think it’s just the calibration or whatever normally stops it once it’s up. Service thinks they need to replace the regualtor. Unfortunately there’s...
  10. Window doesn’t close completely

Thanks, but that doesn’t do it for me. That’s the process to calibrate the auto Up/down. But that’s not my issue. The window doesn’t close period - manually holding the switch or auto up.
  11. Window doesn’t close completely

Has anyone had an issue with a window not closing fully? My rear passenger window doesn’t go up past ~3/4 of the way. I’ve scheduled service with Rivian, but it’s going to be 6 weeks to get the parts :( Note, this is not the auto/one touch up/down. The window doesn’t close period. Besides that...
  12. Will I be the only Rivian in New England?

Got my check last week! FYI, it took mine ~4 weeks to arrive after application approval.
  13. Will I be the only Rivian in New England?

They’ve done it on my model 3 as well. I think it’s a standard check but they don’t do it every year. Maybe it’s done based on model year or something? The shop I used refused to take off the panels to use the jack points. My guess is the want no liability if any trim piece breaks or just want...
  14. Will I be the only Rivian in New England?

MA requires inspection within 10 days of registration. Rivian doesn’t do it for you (neither does Tesla, but traditional dealers usually did it for you). Mine did jack it up after assuring me that it was fine to do so. MA video records the inspections via a camera in the inspection bay...
  15. Will I be the only Rivian in New England?

I’m taking my r1t to the Auto Innovation EV car show tomorrow 7/20 at the Kimball's in Lancaster MA. Should be there by 5-5:30.

Your excise tax should come from your town, not the RMV. Did you have a high value trade in? That would have reduced your sales tax as you only pay it on the delta. If not, make sure it’s right. All of my sales tax was paid to IL through rivian. None to MA. Regardless of who it’s paid to, the...
  17. Will I be the only Rivian in New England?

Yeah, made a pdf of that one page with the line highlighted and then linked to the full online manual. If you want to get a head start on the application, here’s what I had to send them: Purchase agreement Purchase summary (summary of my build from rivian’s website) The page from the owners...
  18. Will I be the only Rivian in New England?

It’s [email protected] They also have a contact form on their website.
  19. Will I be the only Rivian in New England?

There’s no online application. It’s done via email.
  20. Will I be the only Rivian in New England?

Mine was similar. When you register in MA, you need a form that says that you’re exempt from sales tax because it’s transferred from IL. Rivian registered it for me, but the form they had me sign is MVU-29: Affidavit in Support of a Claim for Exemption from Sales or Use Tax for a Motor Vehicle...
