Ok, fair enough, but that wasn't really my question. Even if they just hand you the cash balance back after applying $X from your trade-in to the new lease, I'm just trying to figure out if Rivian trade-in values are any better or worse when trading in a Rivian to Rivian.

I think they are 100% going to be less expensive to manufacture. If not, then Rivian should fold up shop now and look for bankruptcy protection... Much of the shit they are touting in the press (e.g. reducing a mile of wire in the truck) has zero impact on buyers but will make the truck cheaper...

Maybe it’s your location. I tried San Francisco and Denver, both had vehicles. Delivery in “1-6 weeks” per the site. There’s a filter for 25s now built into the search function.

There are several 25 models already showing up in The Shop. I suspect that they are going to “mass produce” a few variations to keep inventory available but will custom build for those that want something different.

I think most of the ride complaints have been about the ride quality on the Gen1 R1S, not the R1T.
